This 4-tier bookshelf has exceeded all my expectations! It’s incredibly sturdy—I even have a small fish tank sitting on the middle shelf, and there hasn’t been a single wobble or issue. Hey folks, if you're looking for a way to display tall wine/whiskey/whatever bottles. These shelves are AWESOME. The 14" between shelves is perfect for the tall bottles you'll find with like New Riff, Smoke Wagon, Willett, etc. Weight wise, these shelves can handle it as well.I used just the two outside sections and have them on opposite sides of a door. Did NOT like how tipsy they were on their own so I used the included wall tethers to keep them from falling over. I would say that's pretty much mandatory if you're putting bottles on one of these. With the tethers in place it would take a tornado to knock them over.

Great bookshelf! Sturdy and was relatively easy to put together. I think out of the dozen or so shelves this one had room for more of my books for the best price.

This shelf looks nice. The measurements are correct, but based on the photos, I was expecting it to be a little taller.Assembly could have been easier. The instructions were straight-forward, but aligning the screws through the supports to the shelves was a slight pain. And literally painful if you tried using the supplied tools.Tip: If you have a better Alan's wrench, use it. Preferably a nice one with a good grip and a swivel cap. Even then, I have some blisters.Tip two (and this is briefly mentioned in the instructions. Put everything together loosely, so you can position, level, and then tighten. Then, make everything "mostly tight" before tightening the cross-bars. Firming those up will add the stability in the end and straighten things out nicely. Finally go over every bolt and make it very tight (hand tight, not power-tool tight)Tip three. When putting the shelves on, first screw the screws into the shelves about half way, and then remove them. This will make them easier to insert through the supports, where it's tricky to align the holes. If you don't have an extra set of hands, I recommend putting in the shelf screws so that the second screw is on the opposite (diagonal) corner from the first. THis hold shelf in place while you get the other two screws.Tip four: When its time to tighten the shelf, start with the middle. make it stable in the center, then re-level and tighten up each end.Bonus tip, consider having some Goo-gone on hand if removing the "inspection number" stickers from the boards is important to you. They come off of the frame easily, but are stuck tightly to the shelves themselves.Four stars is a good, but not perfect rating, which I think this piece deservers.

Obsessed with this bookshelf. Received for Christmas and am still in love with it. Received compliments every time someone visits. The set up did take some time but very sturdy and gorgeous.
