This is a very sturdy work clamp. However, I did rework the little lock washers in the quick release levers. Since these are used as spacers, I bent the washers so they would not bite into the neighboring surfaces. I also lubed the cam surfaces with an extreme pressure lube. I'm sure this is not as robust as a Park Tool work clamp, but I will only use this a couple times a year.

Was surprise at the quality of this bike repair stand. Seems to be made of all steel and not an ounce of plastic which is a plus. Order it! you won't be disappointed.

This is a bench mount bike holder for service and repair. I made a bracket that inserts in my receiver hitch and mounted it to that so I have a service clamp in the parking lot. We have used it on full size mountain bikes. It holds the bike at whatever angle you need.

When I took this out of the box, I could easily see how well it's built. It's all steel except for the rubber inserts on the jaws meant to protect your bike frame's paint. It mounted securely to the side of my big toolbox wooden top. i also used a 2x6" piece of wood securely mounted at the top for added strength. When it came time to test it with my 63lb. Ebike it didn't even budge. It also swivels and rotates making it easy to get it out of the way when not in use. My expectations were met and surpassed with this repair stand. I'm glad I chose this over the tripod version.

This bike repair rack exceeds my expectations, which are high. I purchased this repair rack a couple days ago and it arrived without a single page of documentation but it needed none except perhaps an exploded view naming and specking parts.After determining that the four pre-drilled holes in the baseplate (mounting flange) accept a quarter-inch diameter bolt, and then making a fast run to the local hardware store for bolts, lock-washers, and nuts, I quickly and easily installed the base plate to my workbench and then secured the remaining two pieces (I would call them ‘horizontal extender’ and ‘clamping unit’) to the installed base. Assembled, this stand does not look like the ones I’ve seen in bike shops but in my view works better and is more smartly designed and holds the bike in a steady state.Everything about the installed stand says its designers knew what they were doing and understood my needs! There is no position or bike angle that that could not be reached with this stand, so far as my efforts went. Once positioned, the clamp’s bite on the bike and all positioning bolts on the stand held firmly. I love that the clamp swivels a full 360 degrees so it can bite vertically or horizontally or anywhere in between and can be adjusted to take on a large framing tube, even one with bolt heads inside the clamping jaws area. I don’t find anything to complain about with this bike repair stand.

Had a portable "race day" work stand that did OK, but took up a LOT of room on the floor around it causing problems in the garage getting around it. Had been planning on a permanent bench stand, but was lazy and didn't do it. Now wishing I'd bought this a LOT sooner. Here's what I like:* Takes up about 25% of the space of my floor stand. Easier to get around and work without running into something.* Jaws are both secure and soft. I like how it's not applying a lot of pressure to the tubes, while still giving enough support for me to work on things like removing pedals and such without the frame sliding around.* Very adjustable. The quick releases are very good at controlling rotation and extension in a precise and yet still secure manner. (very much in contrast to my portable floor stand.What don't like:* not sure yet. I'm still so happy to get off the floor stand to notice deficiencies. :)

Almost bought the repair stand from another company that was cheaper and orange, then I saw this for 2X the money, but still very cheap considering a decent stand-alone unit is well over $130 to the door. How can you not love the bicycle skewer-style-clamps! Honestly, the second I saw those, I was sold.On receiving this I mounted it to a work cabinet in the shop. Personally I used two pieces of 3/16 5051 aluminum about 6" X 4" or so on the top and bottom of the cabinet for greater support and durability of the cabinet. The rack itself needs no extra supports, it's very strong and will easily hold any bike you've got. It comes with no instructions and it absolutely doesn't need them. The first time you put it together it takes about 30 seconds.I clamped my bike in and tuned it first thing and oh my god was it so much easier! Also, the tune is never quite the same when you do it on an upside down bike, you always have to do a little adjusting after you flip it over again, but no more I say, no more!Seriously, just buy this and crack a beer to a job well done!

This product is perfect for what I needed. I'm getting into DIY bike repair/maintenance, and I got sick of bending over or working on an upside-down bike. So I attached this to my garage workbench using a few screws, and now I'm able to stand or sit while working on my bikes! My only issue, if I have any, is that there's some movement, even with everything tightened as much as possible. Not the end of the world by any means.Save yourself some $$$ and buy this one versus the name-brand alternative... This cost a little more than half of that blue alternative, and while the other might "hold" a bit better, it's also not as adjustable as this one.This is an A++++ product and of course buying anything through Amazon is hassle-free.
