I recently got my hands on this super soft cuddly electric throw blanket, and I can't tell you how much I love it! From the moment I wrapped myself in it, I felt like I was being hugged by a cloud. It's incredibly cozy, making it perfect for those chilly evenings on the couch or when I just want to snuggle up with a good book.The material is really gentle against my skin, which is a big plus for me since I’m pretty sensitive to rough fabrics. It’s also surprisingly light, so I don’t feel weighed down when I use it. I've even started taking it with me in the car and using it during movie nights.Honestly, if you’re looking for a blanket that makes you feel warm and comfy, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough! I’m tempted to get another one just for backup.

I have had this blanket for a few weeks and have been using it mainly on the couch and in my home office. I have not washed it yet, but it has held up well with daily use. It is incredibly soft and has a nice thickness to it without feeling too bulky.It does not get as hot as my shoulder heating pad, but it still gets warm enough to feel comfortable. I actually like that it does not get hotter because I have a huge fear of being burned or starting a fire.So, it feels safe and I do not worry about any hot spots or burns. The automatic shutoff feature is helpful too. It is a nice reminder of how long I have been using it, especially when I lose track of time.The cord length works for me, but I can see how that might depend on each individual on how far your outlet is from where you plan to use the blanket. For my setup, it has been perfectly fine.

But with it’s construction being on the thin side, you are reminded that it is indeed an electric blanket because you can feel the heating cables within it's build which start their inlaid pattern at about 10 inches inward from the outer most edge/border, but I haven’t found the feel of them to be at all off-putting either.I didn’t like that some spots seemed to heat up more than others but over all that’s also pretty minor and that most importantly it does warm up quickly. I also didn’t like that the handheld controller itself tends to heat up a bit when on the higher settings adding some worry to its safety but I’ve been using it for over a year now and haven’t had issues otherwise; and, I found you don’t have to keep it on high for very long, just to warm up quickly before setting it lower. For more precaution I initially got in the habit of hanging my controller from a hook hung off my bed side dresser drawer which helps give it adequate space to "hang out and be cool" and that does seem to help it dissipate heat better; but I also often use it while on the couch with the controller right on top of me or with it sometimes ending up off to the side or even under me, but still haven’t had any issues.This is the throw size model and I like that its smaller in terms of size management because while I'm also using other regular blankets with this (only when its really cold, and when I might lay one blanket on top of this one to better hold the heat in) on my lower half to add more heat where it’s needed most for my legs and especially my feet that can often get cold as ice, and this really helps with that. I do often use it on the couch but either way I always use it with a flannel sheet which not only works well for adding extra warmth but better helps to distribute the heat and has also been very effective in keeping it cleaner longer and so effective that I haven't had to wash it yet.This is surely not a perfect product, nor at this price point is it made of the highest standard or quality in comparison to models more expensive, but despite that its issues have been minor, and it’s been working really well for me over what's been now its second cold season or second year and it’s still keeping me warm at night. Will update if any of this changes, but again, it's going into its second year of daily use (when it’s cold), and I can recommend it with a full five stars.

Whoever designed this does not understand sleep science or how to make a bed. The control is such a bright BLUE light that it lights up the whole room. I tried red Lens tape but it was still too bright. I finally used a black glasses cleaning cloth to cover it. Blue light should never be in a bedroom. Minor research would have taught the designer that. It should be red. Also there is a large area at the top of the blanket that is not heated. From the pictures I assume you are supposed to fold this down. That leaves a lump at my neck when I sleep. Also because I make my bed the way you are supposed to the turned down area is covered by the turned down sheet so whatever effect they were going for is lost, it just looks like a lump. The other issue is that it does not retain the setting from use to use. I have had electric blankets for more than 50 years and this is the first one that does not remember your setting when you turn it off. That is VERY annoying.That being said the pre-heat setting is very nice if only it would remember my usual setting. 5 is too hot for me. The blanket has very even heating and stays warm all night. The last 2 electric blankets I have had seemed to get cooler as the night went on. I love the fact that I can set it for 10 hours because I read in bed and therefore need more than 8 hours of warm heat. The last 2 blankets I had only allowed 8 hours. All my blankets before that just stayed on until turned off. The imitation sheep side makes the blanket heavier that I am used to especially because I put a quilt over the blanket but it doesn't bother me and it does seem to keep the blanket from moving around when I sleep.I use my blanket summer and winter because it helps my joints not hurt.

This blanket is the best. Good and soft quality can take it when travel. Love the differ settings on it. You have six setting on the remote. I try all of them. I bought two of them for myself. I wasn't thinking about my family membersOops to late now.
