Outstanding Humidifier - Along with Some Suggestions
The media could not be loaded. Some helpful hints I found have helped to keep this humidifier working.First, make sure the tape and Styrofoam block are removed from the product.Second, when filling the tank, make sure that room temp water is added, especially the for the first time. Hot water may damage the seal.Third, do not fill water above the MAX level. The extra weight may cause leaks in the seal.Fourth, all small humidifiers like this will get bacteria/mold if not cleaned every 2-3 days. It is the nature of having water heating up for days without cleaning. If you don't like cleaning it every three days, understand that there will be mold/bacteria inside the base's small tank. It's just that simple. Cleaning is easy, but it takes some time to thoroughly clean the unit.... and fifth, make sure NO water gets in the part that looks like a tower on the base's smaller tank. A small amount will flood the air intake and the electronics' board. This will mess up the controls. If it does happen, use a blow dryer on low to try and dry the board at the base of the unit. Otherwise, a couple of days should dry it out. If it isn't severely flooded, it may still work. Also, NEVER put anything but water in the tank when in use. Vicks, scented oils, or anything else will wreck this humidifier. The only thing I use in the tank is white vinegar to clean and descale it, but after that kind of cleaning, I rinse it out thoroughly and then dry it completely. Keep in mind, tap water is not the best water to use (lots of minerals) which is why white dust from this humidifier can go everywhere in the home and stick to the inside areas of the humidifier. Best to use distilled water or at least buy a demineralizing cartridge if using tap water (they last 4-6 months). Hope these helpful hint work for your humidifier. Took a lot of trial and error beforehand, but once I used this information, there hasn't been an issue yet with my Dreo humidifier or any of my previous humidifiers.Best of luckUPDATE: I started to have some issues with dust just like what others have be experiencing. I contacted Dreo by email and customer rep, Carol Hesung, was able to help resolve the problem. While suggesting that distilled water is the best way to combat the dust, I mentioned it wouldn't work out for me due to the high cost of distilled water per month. Carol understood and offered a complete refund for this unit and for the larger unit I purchased. Not only that, the demineralizing cartridge filter (3-pack) I bought was also refunded. Carol said there was no need to return any of these products. Not only was I pleasantly surprised with this outcome, it proved to me that Dreo is all about making it right for the customer if problems arise. With the actions Dreo has made, I will definitely recommend them and make future purchases from this company. Their customer service has been stellar and I wish other businesses would follow their lead. The Dreo team puts customers first and that is one of their best services offered. Thank you Dreo and thank you Carol.I was able to set the Dreo up quickly and finally get some moister back into my room. So far, this is product is working very well. It is super quiet, compact and easy to take apart, clean and put back together. There are many easily operated controls for such a small unit. 4L is quite small for my living room, but for a small bedroom, this will do the trick. I am pleased with the looks, the style, the easy operation, the light system, but most of all the steam output and the way you can direct the steam is an added bonus. If this can last as long as my old humidifier of 9 years, then I will be that loyal customer only to Dreo for sure. It really is a good humidifier even for its smaller footprint. Definitely recommend.

Sleep Game Changer!
This humidifier has completely transformed my sleep routine. The mist output is just right, not too strong or too weak, and the sleep setting runs quietly all night without any disturbances. I especially love the soft blue light; it's incredibly calming and creates a peaceful atmosphere in the room. It’s become part of my nightly wind-down, and I’ve been sleeping deeper and waking up feeling more refreshed. Easy to use, easy to clean, and genuinely effective. Highly recommended!

GREAT LITTLE MACHINE
Wonderful humidifier. Plan on getting a second one for my bedroom. I've had several over the years, and I can honestly say this is the best. Doesn't leave water anywhere, has a great stream of very fine mist, is very quiet, and shuts off automatically when the tank runs dry. Haven't had to clean it yet, I use distilled water, but I think it'll be easier than ones in the past. It also has a much smaller footprint than my old ones, but holds almost a full gallon of water. Can't say enough good about it.

Great with some need to know below
This is an affordable humidifier that is pretty decent/great but certainly not pefect.Pros:Water tank is big enough to last well throughout the night.Quiet-makes zero noise.Good night light (two levels)CAN be easy to clean once you learn the machine-see con belowKeeps a normal sized master bedroom perfectly humid all night. I never have dry throat, nose or skin problems since buying this. Game changer for my sleep.Cons:Cleaning-whew...At first, I was cleaning this product about once or twice even a week. It builds up mold super quick. I bought drops of citric acid to try and prevent it and nothing was working. After months of use I finally found the trick was to add a tablespoon of vinegar (or a big splash) to EVERY tank refill. Yes, you can slightly smell the vinegar but it's not overwhelming by any means. The tank and base after two weeks barely needed cleaning since adding the vinegar.Cleaning the base is tricky because if you get any water where it's not meant to be the whole thing will stop working. We have had to take it apart a few times and put it in front of a fan to get it back on. Sometimes after cleaning it needs a "few minutes" before it comes back on? It can be finicky. It can leak but ONLY if you don't put the pieces back together properly after cleaning, it's 100% going to leak in that case. I suggest putting this on some sort of tray to protect the furniture you place this on.Overall, I actually do love this humidifier for the price. The vinegar has made the difference between keeping this one and buying an expensive humidifier. It just takes some learning it and making sure you put it together properly and it will work well.

Works as intended, love this
I’ve been using this since my old humidifier gave out in October 2024, and it’s been amazing so far. The whole design is super clean and easy to take apart for cleaning—except for the base, of course, because of the electrical components. It holds a bit over 2 gallons (about 1.5 liters) and runs up to 32 hours on low mist. On high mist, it still lasts a solid 10 hours, which is impressive. The blue light on the cool mist setting has three options: fully on, half-dimmed, or completely off—great for nighttime. The touchscreen controls are easy to use and aren’t affected if water drips on them. Just keep in mind there's a vent area where the machine "breathes," so don’t splash water into that part. There’s also a built-in slot at the bottom for aroma oils, and it comes with a sponge already in place, plus an extra one.Overall, I’d definitely buy this again if I ever needed to. Totally worth the price.
