An Incredible Monitor
This is an amazing monitor! Excellent color, incredible contrast, and the ability to switch between two video sources (one DP and one HDMI).However, be aware that this monitor needs a good graphics card. My 10G RTX 3080 was fine for productivity work, but fell to single digit frame rates when gaming. While the resolution is razor sharp, the higher DPI means you will likely be making your text bigger in every app. Also, the speakers are a pointless afterthought. Imagine a piezo transducer hot glued to the bottom of an empty soup can, and you will get an idea of the sound quality. Don't buy this expecting good sound.Would I buy this monitor again? YESWould I recommend it to a friend? YES- even to strangers ;)

Great Monitor for Gaming or Multitasking
First off, this monitor is heavy. The stand which comes with it is very substantial and will support the monitor well. If, like me, you use an arm swivel to hold your monitor so it can be moved around, you will need a heavy-duty arm and mount. Fortunately, mine could handle the weight.Secondly, the picture is impressive. Just hooking it to my PC and turning it on made it obvious that the OLED is 100% better than my older monitors. I used a three-monitor set before and the panoramic view of this 49" monster made them instantly obsolete. I can do the same work in multiple windows with only one monitor. It does take some getting used to but the overall picture quality and 240hz refresh rate means a seamless work surface and an unbeatable gaming workhorse. So my pros:It was easily set up and provides a great visual experience.Working in multiple windows and programs functions well and the seamless movement between them is a great asset.Gaming is awesome on this monitor with no rips or lags in any of the games I put it through. (BG3, various flight sims, Cyberpunk, Skyrim, et. al.My cons:Updates are not intuitive. There is a bit of work involved in getting the hardware updated. I had to download to a thumb drive and the find the specific port to plug into. The LED lighting on the back is meh. A series in a strip around the monitor would be more eye-catching.All this being said, I find myself really enjoying this monitor. It is beautiful in the picture and quality, seems robustly well built and allows for easy multitasking through putting up to six windows across the face.I have not tried the additional device option (splitting the screen in two) or used the built in sound as I have better base sound on the PC itself.Overall, I would recommend this monitor for anyone who needs a wide screen for multitasking or gaming purposes. It also provides an excellent streaming picture for movies/television. It is a higher price point, but is well worth the price in my opinion.5 stars!

Beautiful Monitor for Work and Play
This monitor is awesome! My son said it makes him happy every time he looks at it, which also motivates him to use if for school work, his job, and gaming. It truly is a sleek design, and the curved aspect is fun to work and play on. The image quality is amazing. If you spend a lot of time on the computer, it is worth the investment!

Read this BEFORE you buy...
If you are using this monitor with more than one input (especially a laptop) as well as a gaming PC, read this!I use my monitor for both work and gaming with 2 machines. My Corsair One for gaming works perfectly with this monitor with no issues. My laptop however was a nightmare to get to "work" with this monitor. The Samsung support is absolutely terrible. First, you'll get NO instruction or setup booklet when the monitor is delivered. It just shows you how to basically unpack it and "plug it in". Your laptop will likely NOT work out of the box if it's a work-grade laptop (not for gaming). I googled and watched a lot of youtube videos just to get the basics to work. I called Samsung multiple times and was told a lot of misinformation (buy a Thunderbolt C cable, do this, do that...). Finally they setup a ticket for someone to come onsite to my home and "fix" it. I was told they would be here within 24-48 hours and to answer my phone as they will close tickets if you don't. No one ever called and after 10 days they just "cancelled" the ticket stating it had the wrong information on it. Typical. You're completely on your own to figure all this out.If you're in a situation like mine, know that you'll need to use your HDMI and that you only have 1. So the idea of splitting your screen can get really tricky. To even make your HDMI work with your laptop so the screen doesn't compress, you need to go to the setup on the monitor itself and in the Menu, so to System, then PC/AV - choose AV. You may also have to change the Display Port Ver to 1.4 instead of 2.0. Everyone's situation will be different of course depending on your laptop. This at least made my laptop using HDMI usable, but it shrinks the screen size down to ~27". You won't be able to use the full 49" view.I bought this monitor primarily for gaming, but still have to use it for work as well. You'll be disappointed in it if you try to hook up a laptop with a mediocre graphics card. There are other videos out there to get this to work and use multiple inputs, but again - beware... You only get 1 HDMI and 1 Display port. It may not end up being as great of a monitor as you may think. Samsung support is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. I followed their directions and bought the Thunderbolt C connection and it still didn't work. I hope this helps someone else out in the future.
