I bought this tool mainly to do DPF Regen on a 2009 JDM Toyota Hiace. It worked. But it would not read OBD on that same vehicle.It will read OBD/Live data on some JDM Toyota vehicles, but not on others.I have tested a LAUNCH X-431 PRO on the same vehicles, and it read the same vehicles correctly.Well, good thing it does what I mainly needed it for. Too bad for the rest.

Buyer Beware! This tool does not force regen as discription suggests. After several attempts to resolve this malfunction with seller, finally returned for refund. Seller claims it works on Chrysler, but told me it does not work on Dodge, haha..??? I had to explain that Dodge is Chrysler, but makes no difference, this tool does not function as described.

Bought this specifically to perform a regeneration on my Golf TDI, since the description here says it’ll work for my vehicle. Plugged it in and got an error warning that the device does not support my vehicle. No step-by-steps were indicated in the manual. So, I contacted the NEXAS support and received the following instruction: “Pls make sure your vehicle water temperature is above 80 degree and engine is running when you do the DPF regen. better after running for 10 minutes.” Proper English grammar isn’t the responder’s strong suit, which was okay with me provided that the instructions worked. Nope. I should’ve had an idea of what results I was going to get with that, added to poor spelling on the screen (“Vechile” instead of “vehicle”) and the label on the back of the unit. You get what you paid for, right? I learned for myself.
