I already have two different detectors for use in my small retail business. One is a manual device where you place the bill in and view it through a lens with UV light and the other one is an automatic device that accepts one bill at a time and instantly tests it automatically. I got tired of fooling with these and decided to try one of the larger automatic counters.Having read many reviews on money counting/counterfeit detecting machines I was a little skeptical of this one because of the low price on Prime Day but knowing I could return it, I decided to give it a try. When this one arrived I was actually surprised at the weight of the machine. Much heavier than I expected which I guess suggests higher quality components.My very first test actually surprised me it was so fast. I put a stack of about fifty one dollar bills in the hopper and literally, as fast as the snap of your fingers, it spit them all out with the total. I did a double take.The size is a little larger than I wanted but the functuallity far surpasses this small inconvenience. Some other reviewers commented that jamming is a problem but I haven't experienced that yet. One nice feature is that bills do not have to all be oriented the same way. I mixed some face up, face down, forwards and backwards, all in the same batch, and there was no problem at all. It works extremely well and is very simple and easy to use. Since I keep it set on US currency the only buttons I use are the VALUE (to set the value of each batch because it does not determine the different denominations in a single batch) and the ADD button to give a sum total of bills at the end of counting.I cannot emphasize just how fast this machine is. It's incredible! I wish I had bought this years ago. Absolutely worth the price I paid and I highly recommend this machine. If I could give it more than five stars I would.

Works as described

I am the treasurer for a charitable organization, and I frequently need to count cash. I couldn't be happier with this money counting machine because it saves me so much time. In the past I have always counted cash to be deposited at least twice to verify the total was correct. With this machine, all I do is separate the bills by denomination and have the machine count them, I run them through 3 times to verify the total (I've never had a discrepancy), and fill out my deposit slip. The bank counts the money and it is accurate every time. The bottom line is, it's fact, it's accurate, and the price is reasonable compared to other counters on the market. I would definitely recommend this product.

Note counter does NOT detect denomination, user selects. Works fast and perfect for the 10 minutes I had it before realizing this. Looks versatile and perfect for high-volume sorted denominations and making stacks user selects.

This unit works great for what I use it for. Wish it would sort by denomination but for the price this works fine! Would buy again!

PERFECT FOR WORKING

The only thing I don't like is that if you accidentally press the currency button it resets allthe preferences. Other than that works great
