It works well used for a seal on my truck grille

I used this weatherstrip on an aftermarket grill for my Tacoma. The rubber than came with it was much better, but came without any sort of adhesive. I'd read others had used this moulding, so I though I'd try it.It's very thin, which made it go on easily. We'll see how long it stays on. Enough came in the package to do two grills.It was very poorly packed, just thrown in a baggie, so there were creases in it. Would have been nice had it been properly rolled up.

Instead of arriving in a nice coiled roll with the adhesive backing still applied (see product image), mine came as a spaghetti mess. I returned it, and a second one arrived in the same way. Given all the hassle of returning again, I tried to use it. It works ok, but in places the adhesive didn't stick as well on my clean paint because some of the backing was separated when it was bundled together and shoved in the bag. I'd look elsewhere!Update: I’ve been contacted many times to remove this review for money. Unless I get a product that works as described, I’m not removing my review.Also, of the bits I managed to install have failed for the most part. The adhesive does not last.

Easy on helped reduce noise

Seal seems to be ok, but the adhesive tape is junk water if money

Product arrived crunched up in a bag and not rolled. The red strip backing was peeling off because of this. Material was much thinner than expected but was still usable for front truck grille sealing.

I used it on my truck for the front grill, Adhesive not very strong it came off after a week.

I bought an aftermarket grille for my truck that included some similar looking weather stripping that was total garbage. Adhesive was useless and it was too rigid to form to the contours of the grille. This product saved me. Even though it appears identical to the included weather stripping, the adhesive is much better and it's much more flexible. So far it's worked like a charm.

Used this to get rid of wind noise on my light bar. Worked like a charm. So far adhesive is holding strong.

it is a good replacement trim for cars, only complaint is its adhesion is not very good, I used a hairdryer to heat it to increase the adhesiveness. Anyway, it is the cheapest way to replace the trim and save a lot of money when compared with taking your car to a dealer (may cost you hundreds of dollars).
