Fantastic set, good size for the smaller and larger pieces. I’ve gone way too long in my life with shattered nails from dollar store clippers. No more! These puppies are sharp and leave smooth cuts behind, I normally would buff out my nails after cutting by rubbing them against my jeans or other coarse fabric, out of habit I tried doing that after these clippers and I couldn’t get anything to snag at all.There is a thoughtful little yellow bag to store the clippers in, nice touch, it protects them and makes them easy to find.Also as a bonus you if you read the little insert they mail with the clippers you can find a little goodie email address and if you shoot them a note they will ship you something free! I never knew there was a hierarchy when it came to nail clippers, but believe me...there is!! These are the Lamborghinis of nail clippers!! They are well made, ergonomic, and the cutting surface is soooooo nice and sharp. I can't say enough good things. I will never, EVER buy a different brand of clippers ever again!!

Originally I thought to myself, "clippers are clippers, I just need something cheap." And then I decided I give something nicer a try just to see if there was a difference; there is a difference and these clippers are worth it.The primary benefits are: The sharpness of the clippers makes the cuts clean, instead of leaving the nails ragged. The clippers are sturdy.If you just want the job done you probably weren't looking at these clippers in the first place. If you can splurge a couple extra bucks for something you'll likely have and use for years then yes, this is a good choice.Personally, I would prefer to have a rounded edge for the big clippers, although it does seem that this is intentional for those people who suffer from in-grown toenails. I don't have that problem, so this isn't my preference but they are as advertised and do a great job so definitely 5 stars.

Pretty nice clippers. Although what I would consider a modest improvement over what I was using for fingernails, the toenail clipper does a better job. The clippers seem very sturdy and easy to use with my small hands. The file inlaid in the handle is a nice feature and seems to work well. Overall I'm satisfied.

These are the sharpest clippers I have ever used. Be careful and enjoy clipping your nails.

These are well-made, well-shaped, very easy to grip and don't slide from your fingers and cut cleanly with minimal pressure. One can choose a straight edge on the larger clippers while the smaller is the usual curved edge. They come in a little pouch so they aren't as easily misplaced! They both allow much better control in cutting so you don't risk wrong angles and ragged edges.But maybe the very best quality is this company's fantastic customer service. My large clippers were not working properly although I wasn't aware they were actually defective. The customer service rep, Jenny, absolutely insisted on replacing them when I hadn't actually requested this. Truly awesome follow up by Harperton and the replacement large clippers work perfectly. I absolutely recommend this company and their products. Oh, they also include upon request little gifts with your order: A free Goodie; and 20% off your next Harperton purchase. I haven't followed up on either of these but it's just nice to know they do this!

I gave this a three to bring down all the hype these get online as being like the best of the best in the nail clipper world. Because with that expectation they're highly disappointing. But going in blind these would be 4 star clippers.Don't get me wrong. They do what they should just fine. And the sand paper like grit on the handle is great for filing down the sharp edges after clipping without needing a separate tool with you.But the clip action, while it is more than sufficient, does not carry a crisp snap feel like soo many online reviews say they do. My best guess is that they're actually doing so well at cutting that it just kinda pushes through with little to no feedback other than a squish. But again, they cut clean and they cut easy.So no hesitation in telling you these will do what you want them to. Just don't buy the online reviews that they're like the king of clippers... I have other ones I like better that I don't even know who makes... Revlon... some Korean kit I got as a gift...?
