The perfect gift with a loaf of bread.
This is the best storage method I've run across for the fresh bread that I bake. I love the fact that you can continue to fold the Velcro top further and further down as the bread is used up (see photo). This reduces the amount of air trapped in the bag so the bread stays fresh longer. These look like they will last a long time and are very durable. When giving a fresh loaf of bread to a friend, such as for a housewarming, this makes the perfect gift that will last long after the bread is devoured!Hint: although they don't smell great fresh out of the packaging, a quick rinse underwater and the smell goes away and they are ready to use. This really is a great find, and much less expensive than other options I see on Amazon.

Works great!
My only problem if, you can call it a problem is the proper way to clean it!

Very large
When these came, they smelled really bad - no way I wanted my bread near that. I immediately washed them and they now have no odor at all, so that's ok. These are basically a large plastic/rubber bag enclosed in nylon for reinforcement. (I've no idea what "TPU" stands for). They are well made and I expect they should last awhile. I actually think they are almost TOO large...too much air space around the loaf. Time will tell how well they function. My procedure up till now has been to leave the loaf out the first 2 days with the cut side down on plastic (because I like a crunchy crust). After than I move it into a plastic bag. This gives me the option to try it out in the bag to start with (cut side down on the rubbery surface). I won't know how the crust ends up till the next bake.Update: I changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. Yes these are very large, but since you can fold the excess under, that shouldn't affect the storage much. And since the horrible smell vanished after washing and has never returned, I decided these deserved the full 5 stars.
