Perfect for ambient light/nightlight.
Took me forever to get it hooked up with Alexa on my echo dot, but I got it now. New internet boxes are mostly 5g, and this lamp requires 2.4 ghz connection. Ended up having to call my provider and he finagled a way for this lamps app to decipher the difference in network speeds to be able to hook it up. Worked like a charm.

Didn't work for me...
Sent it back, the app is the main problem. It just wouldn't connect to it.
