Good quality book
A very good book to read after watching race across the world on BBC as I would like to visit central America in the coming years. Remember, secondhand books are considerably cheaper and can be just as good quality

Good book
Good and makes traveling much easier ,less of a budget travel book then before but it might suit my age and needs

Useful but do your own research as well
Was our main guide for a 4 week trip but glad l also did a lot of internet research as well beforehand . Tends to over enthuse about 'laid back' (dull) backpackers (full of twenty something travel groups) and places to chill (means there is nothing to do or see). Nicaragua is an amazing country but you need to learn some Spanish and avoid the main travel honey pots to get the best experiences. Basic travel advice spot on. Everywhere in the guide will be full of other tourists with the guide and more expensive than the place that isn't down the road

Disappointing
I usually find the lonely planet guides to be so useful and vital for my travels however, unfortunately I cannot say the same for this guide. Much of the information was wrong re. facts on attractions. Also, maps were not accurate which really screwed up my time lines and affected my ability to see all I wanted to.

Four Stars
Not too different to previous version but otherwise good - usual LP - great for maps and ideas.
