Love these for double checking my food is cooked.

I bought these for my cooks as gifts. They say they are instant red but they are not. Temps slowly climb just like the thermometers I buy from our supplier.

Disappointed no new charger sent to us!! That’s went bad!!

While for many of us, cooking is a skill you tend to learn by experience, by observing the foods as they cook. However, in order to get that experience, it helps considerably if you know what the temperatures are involved, and these are great for that. According to the description, they work well in other uses such as water or even wax, although I haven't tested that yet. I DO know that it worked quite well on tonight's roast. One really big advantage to a set like this, at least to our household, is that we have several food allergies to deal with, all different for different people, and a set like this, color coded, is an excellent way to avoid cross contamination, with a specific probe for a specific dish. I was quite happy with its quickness and accuracy (I checked them against my roommates' temp probes). Definitely a good value.
