Does what it says on the tub
This is a very good Soldering Flux and, in testing, I found it to perform as described. As this is a pretty solid paste I tend to dip the tip of my soldering iron in the paste and then apply solder to the joint/wire/component I am working with. The description suggests applying a thin layer to the area to be worked on and I assume this means scrapping a bit out of the tub and transporting to the work area but I prefer the method detailed above which seems to provided the right amount of flux to produce shiny joints and keeps my iron clean at the same time.I also tested this paste in the way I most commonly use such a product; that is, placing a section of solder wick in the tub and heating with the iron to impregnate the wick with flux. This worked really well. I also liked that this paste doesn't easily burn after continued heat (go brown) like other pastes I have used.In conclusion, I found this product to be exactly as claimed (although it says no-clean, I always like to clean the circuit board to remove the sticky residue after working). There is low odour and low fumes compared to similar products I have used.

Effective No-Clean Flux for Small Repairs
I found this no-clean flux quite effective for small repairs, especially for de-soldering components. It offers good welding performance. My only issue is its stickiness; I was expecting a butter-like consistency, but it's too sticky and hard to extract in small amounts.Even though it's a no-clean flux, I always clean after use. This flux is easy to clean when warm, but if it gets cold, it's harder to remove. Despite this, it does the job well and offers good value for money.Recommended.

Works well with surface mount components
Using this on a heat plate with surface mount components is the best way to use solder flux. It ensures the solder paste flows smoothly and is much easier to tidy up than if you don't use flux. There's a decent amount that, at the time of ordering, was around £8 which seems good value - it will certainly last me the rest of the year!Good to know it's lead free, too.

Very thick, in fact too thick for me.
i have been soldering electronic components as a hobby for nearly 50 years so I'm not a total beginner with this sort of stuff. Although solders for electronics have there own core of flux in them there's never any harm using a bit of extra flux to make a good shiny solder joint. You get a lot of this in the tub, enough to last most casual hobbyist a good few years I would think. However I was surprised how thick this flux is compared to others I have used. It by no means has the consistency of butter in fact the surface was so solid at first I thought there must be some sort of membrane over it (there wasn't!). I found the only way to get it on your wire or component was to stick my soldering iron into the flux to melt a little bit of it and then dip the wire or component into the melted bit, very inconvenient. Perhaps i have missed out on the fact that fluxes are now new/different/safer (neutral PH it would seem) but this isn't for me I'm afraid. Its moderately effective once you get it where you want it. I'm actually now wondering if the product is more suited to welding copper pipe and the like although circuit boards are clearly shown in the product photographs.

Very Decent Solder Paste
I've recently switched onto the advantages of solder paste. From initial tests, this seems like an excellent quality solder. The package does not come with an applicator, but I already had one which work very well with this paste, and I acheived some decent results.Very Good.

A large tub of flux paste
There’s not much to about this except it’s a 100g tub of flux paste. If you do any kind of soldering you’ll know how useful flux is, even when using rosin-cored solder.Recommended and good value.

Works like flux should. Not runny
This looks like a jar candle and the flux looks like a soft wax in texture and density. You can poke your wire ends in it or pick a bit up with a tooth pick and sort of daub it in place. Its quite nice when you want flux on small areas but not everywhere because it doesnt spread out immediately like liquid flux does. The flux is in a 7cm diameter tub and there is flux for a 3cm depth so its a useful amount.

Perfect soldering flux
Good quality solder flux for dipping in gun before melting solder onto tip. Handy 100g tub and good value. Makes a big difference when soldering.
