I bought this for cutting my own hair. I was hoping this would allow me to set it and forget it and just cut up the back and sides without a mirror while running the clipper up to the guide. While it does work for that to some degree, it can also slide up when the clipper hits the edge of it even when tightened. This is probably less of an issue if someone else is cutting or spot checking it but if solo, you still have to reposition it back each time with a mirror. The result is I still end up with kind of a rough cut and having to blend it in later manually using a mirror. That said, I'll still use it since I have it but I can do about the same job without it just by eyeing it without the guide so it isn't something I'd buy again.

Started helping my husband with his haircuts at home since he used to go in to his barber weekly/biweekly for a haircut. Boy am I glad things like this exist and makes my layout alotttt easier and quicker to create the right shape!

I've never given myself a haircut, so some instructions would have been nice. Found some kids and gave it a go. Even though tight, the clippers move the guide easily. I got some crooked lines since it slid out of place a few times. Thicker material & some grip on the inside could help. This got returned.
