Bought this (2 metre, reversible) to use with Samsung Fast Charger for S6 Edge.Purchased in February 2016, worked well for a few months. Then it became hit and miss if the fast charging would work the way it was plugged in. If I flipped it, it would then usually work with fast charging.Another month later, and it's working with fast charging maybe 1 in 50 times it's plugged in.If I replace this cable with an older, non-reversible USB cable, fast charging works again every time.I can only assume that that connectors on this cable get worn down or depressed too easily. As well as this, the plastic on the end of the cable has loosened and fallen off (see picture)The other disappointing point to note was that the "regular" USB end of this cable is not reversible, which defeats the purpose a little.If I was offered a replacement free of charge to test I would accept it, but can't recommend this to people unless they really don't care about being able to use it as a fully functioning product for more than a few months.

I have owned the MicFlip Reversible Micro USB cable (200cm) for just over 7 months. Cable build appears good to start with. It has a good covering on the cable and the reversible micro USB end worked as advertised.However after 7 months of using to charge my phone / tablet I noticed that the charge speed was not as fast. I plugged my phone in to charge as normal last night and smoke started pouring out of the port. I quickly disconnected the cable. It has black burn marks on it smells of electrical burning. Luckily the port on my phone appears OK as it is charging from another cable but guess I was lucky enough to be there when it went up in smoke. I would highly recommend you do not use this cable for charging, if you have bought the cable and notice it is taking longer and longer to charge I would also recommend you stop using it straight away.

It's a good, quality cable that fits well. However, the premium price also come with a much reduced charging speed compared to my Aukey micro USB cables. At 50% battery charge remaining on a Xperia Z3, this cable charge at roughly 790mA compared to 1360mA from my Aukey cables. If quality and the 'convenience' of attaching your cable in the dark at first attempt is your thing and you don't mind waiting an extra 30 - 45 minutes to charge your device, you won't be disappointed.

amazing! ITS VERY DURABLE AND DOES THE JOB SO PERFECTLY!

4 months of non-heavy use has resulted in the braiding at one end to be completely worn and looks as if the bare wires are now exposed. It worked as intended for a Nexus tablet but wouldn't connect properly into my HTC One M9 from day 1 which is what I originally bout it for...I may have just been unlucky with this particular one but after my experiences, I feel that even 2 stars is generous.

Initially it was an extremely tight fit. After a few days of pushing and pulling like mad to use the cable, it started to come apart a bit. During a two week holiday where this was the only charger I brought for 6 important electronics, it started failing to charge, or getting the "your phone is charging slowly" message and the "your phone isn't charging at all" message. Plugged in, charge light on, battery level going down.
