Worked perfect for my new air compressor
I bought a new air compressor and wanted to add an hour meter to assist with maintenance in the future. This meter was ideal because it was a decent size, easy to read, NOT battery powered like the cheap models and AC compatible from 110v - 240v.That power capability was important in case I decide to change the compressor wiring from 110v to 220v in the future.I bought a small electronics “project box” from Amazon, drilled a 2 inch hole in the top of the box for the hour meter and wired it to the motor side of the pressure switch with 12 gauge, 240v capacity stranded wire. When I turn the compressor on, it powers the hour meter and I know when to change pump oil rather than guessing. This hour meter works well, looks good and was inexpensive. It’s hard wired, has no battery and won’t die in a few years. Hope that helps!

Failed at .7 of an hour
I installed this on an Eastwood QST 30/60 compressor to monitor hours for oil and filter changes. I wired it in so that it only counted time when the actual pump motor was running. Straight forward wiring and it was working. Unknown to me, when I checked this meter recently to see how many hours had been logged, it was at .7. So, I released the air in the tank and ran a full cycle to see if it would accumulate any time, it did not. Verified wiring, all was good. When you buy an hour meter, you expect it to work, but in parity with what other customers on here reported, it failed. Mine seemed to have failed sooner than most, but what is the point of an unreliable hour meter? I'm guessing it should have somewhere around 10 hours recorded at this point. I'd avoid this unit and anything that looks similar. Since it was dead, I did take it apart to see if anything showed signs of electrical failure inside, but nothing looked abnormal.

Excellent "Old School" round face easy to read.
This Hour Meter - I am using in addition to the OEM unit on my Lawn Tractor. The factory high tech unit is difficult to see as it is located under the steering wheel and small LED read out I really DISLIKE! This unit is easy to read at a glance and the 52mm size fits perfect on the upper dash of my tractor, next to my after-market Volt Meter. Now the only gauges missing are Tach-Oil Pressure-and a remote tire pressure gauge -- then I can race about my yard in style.

Ok
It Appears to be a quality hour meter however I didn't get to use it due to the way it mounts. I couldn't find any way to make it work.

Accurately Displays Run Time, Solid Mechanical Gauge
Took some wiring to install which is fine for anyone who is handy or hands-on. I like that it's very solid, mechanically driven, and I don't need a battery to keep the runtime on the meter. I can count on the fact that I won't lose my runtime like from other gauges that have a battery and are most likely to fail in the winter and lose the runtime.
