perfect for my home jamming studio PA - real instruments bass, electric/acoustic guitar, keys, and Addictive Drums
I have a home recording studio with a PA system (Mackie mixer, Crown power amp powering two of the good old Yamaha Club IV 15's two way passive speakers and well, after blowing my previous home theater subwoofer (yeah I know, should never have done that, but that little fella held up for over a year). I go out AUX from the board to feed the sub. Anywho, I play and jam to rock, blues and what have you, and listen to tracks on YouTube really friggin loud. I jam along with instruments acst/elec guitar, bass, keys, drums and record music tracks for fun. It's all about getting loud, making some noise, and feeling the vibes and grooves. Had seen all the stellar reviews on the B1200PRO, and yep it is perfect for my application. Fills in the bass low end nicely for a home studio. My sweet spot settings are: main gain about 10 o'clock (yep that's plenty loud to sound like butter), high cut: 90Hz, Boost: 70-90Hz approx, Keep in mind this is in a suburban neighborhood, and I don't want the neighbors calling the cops on me. I run 90-100dB for fun, by hand held sound meter. (Obviously this system can do much more. I have easily done 110dB but that's ear ringing loud) This sub fits the bill perfectly. Not sure you could gig with it proper beyond a small venue, but it is absolutely worth $300. Every penny. The next step up in subs, you are looking at $600-1000+. So if your sub application is minimal, this will do just fine.

AMAZING SUBWOOFER VALUE - GREAT THUMP!
This is a great little subwoofer. At about 42 pounds I can pick it up and carry it with one hand. I'm using it under a Behringer B110D powered speaker with a speaker mounting pipe I got here on Amazon. The combination of the bi-amplified top speaker and this subwoofer is a real Bose stick PA killer for under $500. We play small acoustic shows and needed a seriously tiny PA system that sounds big because we play backing tracks through the PA. The combination of these two Behringer PA speakers has delivered BIG SOUND that gets us lots of compliments. The crossover in the subwoofer is excellent and can really help make this PA sound exceedingly natural with a very surprising low end thump.Amazon had the subwoofer for $30 better price than anyone else and they delivered it in two days, sweet!I like Amazon and Behringer, both great companies. We have quite a bit of Behringer equipment including two X32 mixers and power amps. I've installed over 100 Behringer products in commercial applications that are on 24/7, this includes cruise ships and Fortune 50 boardrooms. I've been using Behringer products since the late 90's and have only the best to say about the sonics and reliability.I've owned products by Marshall, Crown and even Meyer sound, I've never had more product failures from Behringer, they've consistently been excellent and so inexpensive we can often buy replacement with petty cash and never have to bid out the work.If you're a musician and want a great little subwoofer for virtually any application it would be very very tough to beat the value and performance Behringer engineers have packed into this little box.

Great Sub in a Small Package
I currently have JBL EON 15 inch speakers and recently DJ'd a High School Homecoming Dance and I struggled to get enough bass with just the speakers. I was looking for a solution for this for the future but I was looking for something that was not too massive to lug around. I came across this sub and read the reviews. I was a little skeptical at first but I said I would give it a try. Got it on a Friday and had a Halloween Party on Saturday for about 200 people. The size was perfect for transporting it. It was small enough that if fit in my truck with all me gear. I did get a center mounting pole with it so i could mount my speaker right to the base. Now the JBL 15 inch speakers I use may have a tad bit to big for it to be mounted but i gave it a try. It did work well enough and it held with no problem. This speak added a whole other dimension to my set up. the sound was perfect. The bass was perfect enough for the job. Had the sub volume up about half way and it provided just enough base for the job. Now if I want to do another School dance for 300+ people then I will probably get another one and that will definitely be enough bass. If you are doing small halls of 150 people then this will do the trick. I highly recommend this for the price, sound and the compact size.

Great sounding with nice features (but less powerful than 500 watt rating implies)
I purchased this subwoofer to supplement two 12" Mains speakers for my sound system. When used alone, these speakers are not bad, but lacked the low-end punch I was looking for. This Behringer sub filled that need resulting in a full spectrum coverage of the sound frequencies. The sonic results are very good.Pros:- I am pleased with the results of the sound quality- I especially like the 2 output options and found this to be a highlight of the sub. For example, I use the Output A option to run into both Mains. This output has a 100 Hz low pass filter thus reducing the strain on the Mains and I can now run them at a higher volume without breakup/distortion. Very nice.- Overall construction seems very solidCons:- The 500-watt rating is misleading. Before purchasing, I understood this was the peak rating but I wish Behringer would advertise the rms/average rating. I know this is common and used as a marketing strategy, but still. I'm guessing this sub is maybe 125- 150 watts rms? It's certainly not as powerful as the 500-watt rating implies.- I do have concerns about the long-term longevity of this speaker. This is not based on my experience, but after reading extensive online reviews of this model and the Behringer name brand as a whole. Nevertheless, for now I have no complaints.
