This remote only works for flameless candles of the same manufacture. The remote works for all the candles that I have total of six stick candles, and two tea, light candles, and three pillar candles, all from the same manufacture..

This remote is perfect for the Luminara Lover!! I love all the bells and whistles as I have 13 candles!! I had a tealight that didn’t work with my other remote and this new remote makes it work. It was actually a rechargeable tealight which was brand new!! The ivory remote is the BEST!! Worth every penny

Angry that the remotes are now sold separately from the candles. This one does state it works on all luminara candles.Well, it will turn them on, but will not turn them off! Price-wise, a complete rip-off.Update: since they sell two types of remotes I picked up the other one in a store today. This one doesn't work at all!!!!

Greatly expands the functionality of the candles. Controls multiple candles at the same time along with four timer length options. Also you can control the brightness and flicker speed. It’s a no brainer to have for Luminara candles with the remote control feature.

This was a game changer for me because the flame movement has always been my #1 gripe with luminara candles. Using the middle button twice allows them to swing slow and soft. The lowest brightness setting allows them to look more realistic, imo, and also gives you noticeably longer battery life. I highly recommend. Must have if you own luminara candles.

I have literally dozens of Luminara candles and am a huge fan. But they missed the mark with this rechargeable remote. Instead of having one button for ON and one button for OFF, they use ONE BUTTON that you click to turn on, then that same button click to turn off.OK for one candle.But when you have several groups of candles ... push to turn ON... turns on maybe 3/4 of the candles, but OK. Then you push again and All the candles turn OFF.Then push the button again and Some of the candles turn on, then push again and all/most turn off. It is a never ending on-off-on-off that is fixed when you walk over to a group and stand mere inches from the group of 3 candles and use your body to block the signal to other nearby candles and you can finally get the proper candles On.This is not rocket science. Send this Remote back to the drawing board and add another button!Bring back the remote with one ON button AND one OFF button.And just my luck...as soon as this remote arrived, I unpacked it and saw that it worked...then threw away the box, so can't return this very frustrating item.

I have a number of Luminara candles of various sizes and it's a pain having to pick them up, turn them over, turn them on or off, set the timers, etc. In some cases, the candles are in lanterns or other enclosures, and it's time consuming to deal with. This remote takes the hassle out of enjoying my Luminaras. Just turn the candles on from the bottom switch, point the remote and press the button. I feel like Harry Potter. Remote turns candles on or off, sets flicker speed, dims or increases flame light and can select flicker or just light, as well as set the timers. Note that all the features don't seem to work on all my candles. My older candles only respond to on and off. Newer ones respond better to the additional function buttons, however, still not reliably. Luckily for me, I seldom mess with anything other than on and off, or the timer function. Additionally, I've found that sometimes distance from remote to candle can sometimes make a difference in how well the features respond, although in my case, pilot error is a definite possibility. In the end, it does what I need it to do....on....off. Your mileage may vary.
