WHAT A TREAT!
Almost broke my foot running to leave a review! You guys!!! This stuff is absolutely delicious. I got the vanilla flavor. I don't eat meat and I am anemic, apparently have some hormonal issues too. So on the advise of my Chinese medicine doctor I agreed to at least up my protein from a trully bioavailable source such as organ meat. I'm have a slight ethical battle in my head about it as I sip on this, but my god it is so delicious. Yes, quite sweet but I have a constant craving for sugar ( because low energy) and will be drinking this on most afternoons at work when I'm about to pass out on the floor because i feel that tired. Absolutely delicious, not grainy at all, mixed well and can't taste anything but the vanilla and matcha. I made it with low pasturized milk, matcha powder and ice cubes, it is a true treat! The cost is hefty but I think it will be worth it!

Good company, product too sweet
I am an Ancestral Supplements fan and have been using some of their products for a few years. I tried this protein powder for the first time today. I like that this is a very clean product, no unnecessary ingredients. The only thing I do not like is that it is much too sweet for me. It would nice if they would cut back on the sweetener. It also does not dissolve well in hot liquid. Tomorrow I will try cold liquid and see what happens. I'm still going to go with this product because it is made by AS. They are a very reliable company.Update: I tried half a scoop in my coffee and used a small whisk to mix and it is much better. The sweetness is still there but is not so overpowering as a full scoop.

love this protein so much
This is the best protein powder I've tried. I have it in my smoothie every single day, and I love it mixed with frozen fruit, ice, and other superfoods/adaptogens like maca, moringa, schisandra, etc, for even more health benefits. It's easy on my digestion, doesn't leave me bloated like most PP, has a lot of collagen, so I don't need to buy another supplement, and I love that it has adaptogens as they're also a regular part of my diet. Clean ingredients and sustained energy. All protein powders are expensive in my opinion, but this one is a really great add-on to your daily routine. For those saying it clumps, I've noticed if you use room temp or slightly warm liquid, it will dissolve super quickly. I tried it to make iced coffee and matcha, and it worked perfectly with no clumps after I added the ice.

Indrinkably sweet
Undrinkably sweet! The ingredients sound appealing in terms of quality and nutrition but the vanilla flavor has way too much monk fruit sweetener. I tried adding unflavored beef protein powder and also unflavored whey powder to tone it down but it is still awful. It's a lot of $$ for something that has so much sweetener in it. Monk fruit may not affect your blood sugar, but there is no need to overdue the level of sweetness. I would have been better off with beef organ capsules, unflavored powder and a separate mushroom powder.I have now added chickory root to tone it down. Also, it doesn't dissolve easily, is sticky and forms lumps so it's a lot of work if you are on the road and don't have a blender. The chickory has a nice flavor, but I had to also add some cocoa powder and cinnamon & nutmeg so now it is drinkable.

Tastes really good
Bought the vanilla. This is definitely well worth the $$. I have been using it in my smoothies, made protein cookie dough bites, and mock ice cream bars. Super tasty. It does make the smoothies frothy but that can be managed by adding the powder after initial blending and blend on low to incorporate. Will definitely buy again and have been recommending this powder to friends and family.

Tastes artificial
The sourcing of the product seems great, but the taste is awful. It tastes fake no matter what I tried to blend it into. It doesn’t blend well in hot or cold beverages - there are always chunks. So disappointing for such an expensive product.

Not tasty
I keep trying to find a protein powder that tastes great, isn’t full of junky ingredients, and is easy on my stomach. I’ve tried bone broth protein powders in the past and couldn’t drink them because they have a chemical taste to me. I use Ancestral Supplements for supplements and thought this one would be different. It isn’t. It’s overly sweet (has a fake maple sugar smell and taste) and has a chemical taste. I can’t drink it. I even tried mixing it with berries to mask the flavor, but to no avail. $65 down the drain. I’m just not meant to partake in the protein powder game. It gets 2 stars because it’s got some pretty stellar ingredients, it just tastes terrible.
