I purchased this Polare leather backpack a few weeks after purchasing their laptop briefcase since I ride the light rail downtown to work and needed something I could use to carry snacks, drinks, books... in addition to my laptop. Each has its own purpose and place but both are great values for the money. While the briefcase (more like a messenger bag than a briefcase IMO) shines in the boardroom and the backpack shines in the classroom they both carry my 15" laptops with ease and get plenty of compliments about their looks, build, and natural leather smell. Because of the design of the backpack, it's much easier to stuff bulky items like a 5lbs bag of gummy bears, several cans of Pellegrino, Belvita breakfast bars, Oakleys, full size wireless headphones, various chargers and charging cables, a tablet, car keys, and a phone. I would however not keep all those items inside the bag for extended periods of time as they weigh down the bag and make the leather wrinkled. It's not the end of the world I just like the leather to be moce and taut and new looking. Once I get to work I immediately unload the heavier items like the gummy bears, Pellegrino... I bought this bag about a year ago. I have received a lot of compliments every time I wear it and it honestly, it is a good looking bag. But after about 3 months, the clips to close to outside pocket got destroyed. Despite I still wore the bag. But there is something about it I just can't get over. It is heavy. Even without anything in it its heavy. And that has caused me to not wear it as often as I would like to. The comfort also sucks when it comes to the straps on the bag that doesn't help much in supporting my back or the load I have in my bag. Also whenever I adjust the straps it always re adjusts itself after just a few minutes of having it on my back. This bag is great if you aren't gonna bring much. But even when I have my 13 inch laptop alone in here it still feels heavy... I think maybe I should overlook all this because it's a full leather bag, or maybe its just made for someone much stronger than I am.

I have used this bag to carry my mac to work for 15 months now and it is good in every way. The zippers and the tags are sturdy and overall, the bag is very well made with plenty of room combined with a great look.

I ordered two different backpacks from two different makers. We live in Florida and were taking a 2 1/2 week trip to Michigan/Canada. We were going to be hiking, be tourists, traveling on the road and staying in hotels along the way. We wanted a backpack that we could pack one nights clothes in for the hotel nights, something we could carry snacks and waters in when hiking and also for the being a tourist day, wanted to be able to carry any gifts that were purchased.We were so impressed with this bag that we are returning the other and purchasing one more of these. The stitching is superb, the quality is honestly amazing, really, you do not see quality like this very often. It was roomy enough for my husband and myself to both roll and outfit each and put in there along with the essentials. When hiking, one particular day, we did just under 10 miles with this on my back carrying the waters, snacks, etc. it was very comfortable, the straps are soft, pliable, so there was no soreness at all.Save yourself the research, buy this bag, it is worth it!I would post the cons to this, but I have found none

This backpack boasts very high quality construction and materials. It has a nice non-glossy rustic finish of durable genuine leather (fully lined). It is a stylish city-style backpack rather than a lightweight nylon sack for hiking. The shoulder straps are strong and reinforced with brass rivets. The zippers are metal and are finished with leather toggles. They are smooth and solid and made to last. The nylon interior is quite spacious and can accommodate a laptop of at least 15 inches. This backpack smells good and is extremely well made. I like that it has multiple pockets, and enjoy especially the zippered pocket that is concealed against my back when wearing. One can stow important items in this pocket because its particular position is thief-proof. As a student, this is a perfect backpack for me because I can carry my laptop and multiple large books to and from the library and cafe. Also, I can confirm that this product matches the product description and would suspect that you won’t be disappointed.

I am a college student and was looking for something that was stylish yet functional while I trek across campus.I made the mistake of going to a luxury leather store and settled on a messenger bag that was heavy, uncomfortable and EXTREMELY expensive.I was going to revisit the same shop to look for a more practical bag when I stumbled across this bag on amazon. Initially I was wary about its claims of full grain leather and it's construction because the price is very, very reasonable. However, after receiving this bag I can honestly say I’m floored by the product I received.This bag is beautiful. It’s comfortable to wear, and it fit all my school supplies (it even has a special compartment for a laptop device, perfect for my surface pro).I’m very happy with my purchase and will visit this seller first when looking for leather products of similar quality.
