Easy to use and durable
These are awesome, easy to use, and come out of the mold easily. On top of that - they've stood the test of time as we've had them for several months and always keep them full. The blue square cubes are perfect for cocktails and we use the smaller black ones for filling water containers, etc.

This is a great ice cube mold bundle
These make the best ice cubes. Using purified water for the ice cubes they cubes will come out clear and make your drink taste great. My roommates always ask me for ice cubes now after showing them off. Before this I have never owned silicone ice cube molds but the great thing about them is they never damage the ice in the removal process from the tray. They always come out great with no cracks in the ice and the silicone seems to withstand the extreme cold of the freezer. If you are wondering which of the two I like most, the cubes I prefer a bit more, because they always come out as perfect cubes. The spheres are neat but they never come out a perfect sphere usually when they sit in your drink after about 1 min they will appear more perfect, with one other advantage being that the spheres will fit in a smaller cup vs the cubes. If I had to pick one of them I would go with the cubes still.

The cubes are great, the spheres are too small
I have the Tovolo Sphere Molds and I find the size of the sphere to be perfect on those. Unfortunately though, I dropped one of the molds and the plastic broke so I had to toss it out. I wanted more of those but wanted more than just 2 molds. So I found this deal and decided to try them out. The big ice cube mold is great, they're around the same size of the Tovolo Sphere Molds but cubed and they are easy to fill up; the silicone makes them easy to get out too. The sphere mold though is a different story. Although they are easy to remove, they are a pain to fill up because the silicone moves around a lot and the water spills out. The spheres are also too small, I'd rather have the larger spheres like the Tovolo brand which is easy to fill up and make. If you do end up getting this, I would suggest using some binder clips on the sphere mold to hold the 2 pieces together.

Takes practice and patience.
Takes a few practice runs to get the technique down. The tray top & bottom need to be tightly pressed together all around the individual molds; this helps to prevent a raised ring around the frozen ice ball. I used a funnel to fill mine, a baster might make it easier. I also used a small measuring cup to better control the volume of water. Pour in the water into the mold opening in a thin stream in order to let the air out as it fills up. There are a few instructions on the package as well. Be sure to set the mold in a pan or on something hard that you will place into the freezer with the filled mold on top of. The silicone mold is too flimsy to be placed into the freezer by itself without spilling. The frozen ice balls come out of the mold pretty well. I have made a couple of batches and I am getting better! These will work great for our holiday guests.

You want ice? I hope you have steady hands and the art of zen
The "square" tray is better and is basically a traditional square ice tray but with bigger cubes. They fit well in most glasses designed for sipping alcohol. However, when recently filled it can get a little flimsy and spill water all over if you aren't careful. I felt like I was handling explosives by how carefully I had to slide it in the freezer. The spherical tray (and the reason I bought this) is much worse. First, the spheres are small for sipping glasses. Second, the black silicone looks gross as the water dries and/or freezes; large water spots. Third, and most importantly, the two halves leak at the seam if you don't handle it even more carefully than the square tray. You fill each chamber through a small hole that is impossible not to get water outside the intended area. This is the true problem as the water pools in the top half. It is possible to gauge exactly how much water should go in each chamber, but good luck doing it six times in a row without spilling it because, of course, it has to be perfectly level when you move it. I thought maybe adding a small drain hole in the side would help, but didn't do it because as soon as you tip it toward the hole the opposite chambers will leak out a little bit. The only reason this gets a 3 star is due to the cheap price and when the stars align you can actually have good ice for mixed drinks.

Fantastic ice cube/sphere trays
The cubes are large and perfect for chilling comtails without watering them down. I especially like bourbon and simple tequila cocktails, both of which benefit from the reduced surface area of the cube. The spheres are pretty cool as well. They work similarly well and look neat in mixed drinks. My kids get a lock out of them as well.

Way better than the Hard plastic ones.
The big cubes come in handy, love them. The spheres are a bit tricky but great end-result.Im a bit embarrassed to read the problems most of you are having because i thought it was common sense, and you still upload a picture of how you are messing up hehe.I put the spheres tray on a little wooden board, i dont fill all the way up because water expands when it freezes, and if i do, which happens, i just squeeze the top with my fingers, making sure all the sides are nicely pressed. The spheres are not going to be perfect, but we can get fauly close, challenge accepted ;)I use filtered alkaline water, and wash the continers every other time. No bad taste or smell. Do wash when you receive, just like everything else.

Cube molds are great, sphere ones not so much
Bought these as a gift. Both molds are nice quality silicone, they look and feel well made. The cube molds work wonderfully, they are easy to fill and remove the ice. Useful for making ice or freezing broth/soup/juice/etc.The sphere molds are not so easy to use. They are tricky to fill, and need a baster or a pipette to fill all the way. While the sphere ice looks cool (pun intended) it isn't worth the effort.
