Duncan Hines Dolly Parton's Favorite Banana Flavored Cake Mix, 15.25 oz.

Dolly Parton is the only name associated with goodness through and through and Dolly’s recipe mixtures bring out the best in baking. Every flavor that I’ve purchased and baked has been able to stand on its own and were i to make one for a contest, the flavor alone would take first place as the winner.

Yummy banana cake mix. It baked well. Good moisture for the cake. Easy to bake. Great value for your money.

i assumed it would be like banana bread but it has that artificial banana flavor i love. would be sooo good as cupcakes with nutella frosting.

This is one of the only banana cake mixes I have seen on the market.This was ok. Although it was easy to make, the texture of the cake was very dense in my opinion. It was more like a bread than a cake and not very sweet. It also did not taste like real bananas. It has more of an artificial "Laffy Taffy Banana" taste to it. It was not as moist as I had expected it to be after being made with real butter. I think if you needed a cake that would stand up well for stacking multiple layers, this may be a good choice, but it is not my favorite. I think I will stick to adding real bananas to yellow cake batter.

This is an excellent recipe, moist, flavor through and through, I used 2% milk and margarine, and it came out perfect.
