These classrooms in a book are a game changer for classroom teachers needing to teach something that they are not comfortable with. With lesson examples complete with images to input and alter takes the guess work out of lesson planning... simply write in Lesson 4 for your lesson plans. As you use the Classroom in a book, you can add your own assignments so students can use the skills they are learning from the book.

Great tool for tech nerds
Wife is going to an accredited college for software engineering and started prepping in advance using this book. She says she loves it and highly recommended.

Official Adobe books are the way to learn
This is the best step-by-step graphics book I have ever read. Not only is a book, super detailed and step-by-step, but if you need to visually have explained to you, you also have access to the digital version of the book where there is a video for every section That explains it thoroughly and visually. Highly recommended book series.

Together with their videos & training exercises, a great way to learn Illustrator!
The biggest benefit of this book is that, in the same place where you download the exercises, they have videos that pretty much cover the entire book which gives you the best of both worlds! I primarily used the videos but found the text very useful if I ever wasn't catching what the instructor was doing in the videos. Both the videos and text are all VERY step by step. Also, importantly, this book had meaningful material/exercises from the beginning. There was a DIFFERENT Adobe book from the Classroom in a Book (CIAB) series that I had to give a "1" to because the first four or so chapters read like a reference manual (in addition to having other severe issues). Hence, I don't recommend ALL books in Adobe's CIAB series but I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS ONE.Finally, the proof of purchase at the website to get the exercises was pretty trivial --> which is a plus.Hence, I gave this book a five.Simple, but important notes: You DO need Adobe Illustrator ,and be aware, Illustrator isn't the most intuitive application.
