Awesome Printer
This has been an amazing product over the past couple of months. I purchased this Autoprinter for a new business that will print and duplicate about 100-200 cd's per month, and this fits the bill! It is more convenient, allows me to try out more designs, and lets me spend less money (because I don't have to get 1000 of them printed by some bigger company). The print quality is amazing, but keep in mind one thing. I use the hydroshield CD's that are smudge proof, not just any ordinary CD, so I don't know how a regular CD will turn out.The only negative would be the ink, a common complaint I am sure. The inital ink pack was used up in just over 100 CD's but I got a mega ink pack to replace it that should last much longer. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a professional looking CD on an affordable printer.

Absolute junk!
I have had a Bravo 2 for over 6 years and every time I try to make a disk something does not work. The ink cartridges are clogged, there is a communication problem, the mac does not recognize it etc. I have had these problems with 4 different computers over the years so I know it is not anything but the Bravo 2. It has been back to the factory for repairs twice, it works for a week and then starts to have problems again. Right now I am trying to make 10 disks and it has taken me 2 hours to get just one printed correctly. I am ashamed of myself for having spent so much money on a really crappy product. You are much better off sending dvds off to a duplicator or doing them manually in your machine and printing them on an Epson R220 or similar. It is better and faster. I hope I can save someone some money and aggravation with this review.

Great printer, very poor mac driver support
This is an excellent printer. Disk handling robotics have been reliable and the print engine turns out very good quality print. Since I use the printer on an Apple system the lack of a current Mac print driver is a critical failing. When I use the printer on my Mac it is not possible to align the disk and print heads because the driver apparently normally stores the settings - since the driver was written for the old MAC processors and operating systems, it must run in Rosetta mode which leads to many problems one of which is its inability to store and recall any settings. Also there are alignment issues, print boundary issues, random change of system default printers, operation in kiosk mode when there is no kiosk tray and many others. When I contacted Primera with these issues they were "unable" to explain the problem. When I contacted my CD/DVD print program supplier, they explained the driver issues very quickly (even though they have no responsibility for the drivers - this is the job of the hardware mfg.) When I then asked Primera about the driver I was told to just check back "later" to see if there was a new driver (not exactly the level of support I would expect from a printer mfg for a current product on a current OS.) The last driver update appears to have been in 2005. I would not recommend buying this device for use with a Mac unless a new driver is also supplied.

Not perfect, but a good product
No major complaints. Set it and forget it. It works in the background. Some improvements I'd like to see: 1) Disc burns could be faster. I'm burning CD's, which takes at least five minutes per disc. 2) The included driver didn't work for Mac Leopard, but Primera's customer support was great. A real person answered the phone, they were fast, and they solved the problem with an updated program. 3) With every job, the burning program automatically selects the computer's default printer and not the duplicator printer. It should default to its own printer rather than the user having to select it every print job. These things are not "deal breakers." It's just nice to know that before the purchase is made.

This Doesn't BURN CDs or DVDs!
Okay, that's probably obvious to most people looking at getting this printer, but apparently not everyone, as at least 4 or so reviews on it mention burning CDs. I guess I read what I wanted to hear, because I really thought this was the CD/DVD Publishing System, which prints AND burns CDs and DVDs. It's not. It only prints. So after receiving the unit I ordered from Amazon, and reading the manual, being /shocked/ it didn't burn, I returned it (not problem at all there - one reason I love Amazon). I guess I should have known that at this price, you don't get the publishing system that burns. But between several incorrect reviews (they must have bought the publishing system somewhere else), and the wildly inflating List Price, I just thought I was getting a good deal. As usual, you get what you pay for. I didn't pay for the publishing system, so I didn't get it! ;-)I then turned around and bought what I actually wanted, the Bravo II Disc Publishing System. Cost over $500 more, but it's what I want. Amazon's price was very competitive for this, but right now Primera is giving a free second year service, and I didn't see that that was included with the Amazon purchase.Anyhow, great system, so far. Prints very nice CDs, as good a quality as I've seen, even on the 20 cent hub-printable CDs I use. If I go for the glossy Hydrashield ones, they're amazon, but about triple the price. Oh, and it burns great, too. NOT this one: the other one I got that has CD printing. This one's just a printer. Don't make the mistake I did. ;-)PS: I had to give it a rating, so gave it 4 stars for printing only.
