This carpet cleaner exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to use, powerful, and pulled out dirt I didn’t even know was there. My carpets look and smell fresh again—definitely worth the buy!

Some other reviewers have commentated that the machine does not feel very robust. This is true enough but it is intended for occasional, not commercial, use and costs £99, so I think it is good enough.The water tanks are quite small and will need refilling/emptying more than once when cleaning even a quite small carpet. Of course, a bigger tank would have made a more expensive and cumbersome machine. So beware of this but personnaly I didn't really think it a problem. I found the screw cap on the clean water tank has an annoying tendancy to cross-thread. There is a certain knack to locating the water tanks into the body of the machine, although once learned they are quick and easy to remove and replace.The dirty water uptake at the front of the machine is narrow and prone to clogging, especially with pet hairs and similar fibres. Another reviewer recommends cleaning this with an artists brush. I found that a narrow, long handled bottle-brush worked very well. I also found that the mesh screen on the body of the machine (which the waste water tank engages with) got blocked with fluff and reduced the suction very noticeably.The machine also gets clogged with hairs etc. under the brushes. It is easy enough to remove the rollers to facititate cleaning this area using a screw driver. Just make sure to consult the manual to work out which screws to remove. It's not completely obvious looking that the base of the machine. It has a lot of similar screws down there!All-in-all the machine needs a little care & attention when being used to ensure it works optimally. I think that improvements in design could reduce some of these weaknesses but none of them are insurmountable in normal use.I think this item represents good value-for-money and it works well. I am sure there are better carpet cleaners out there, but probably not at this price.

This product is worth every penny I paid (£120), it arrived packaged well with a handy carry bag for the accompanying accessories. I have a small dog and whilst this carpet cleaner does market it towards homes with pets, it definitely would be suited anywhere with the intention of it being used to freshen your carpets when ever you'd like.I had looked at past reviews for this specific product and did some searching and spotted unboxing and product reviews on YouTube, many had said there were problems with sound(being too loud), suction, smaller containers for clear and waste water and shorting of electricity breaker. -- Yes it is loud but it's just slightly higher than my Henry hoover, this wasn't something I was put off by at all.- It cleaned my bedroom carpets well and suction provided enough removal of water content to allow natural air drying. (Warm air from central heating and a de humidifier works well here - or just keep a window cracked open a few inches to allow the moisture to cycle out)- The volume for the waste water container is less than I'd have liked but the regular emptying means that I can see when the water is becoming clearer to the extent that the carpets are as clean they can be.- I found cleaning to be easier than others had made out in reviews, wash the inside of the containers with warm soapy water and let them air dry. Unplug the cleaner and rinse the plastic cover and rollers with a shower hose to remove any residual dirt build up. Not a task I found to be at all difficult.- If you consider buying this for grubby carpets, the added bonus of the hose attachment means you can get into the tougher stains and stubborn material, this was definitely a handy addition.After cleaning a 2nd floor landing and bedroom carpet I must say I am VERY pleased. The carpet in the bedroom had not been cleaned in 10 years, despite having a rather clean home I always wanted to replace them but dealing with the expense was daunting - luckily - this carpet cleaner saved the day and some money, for now anyway.If you're looking for a budget friendly carpet cleaner and you like to see a positive result when cleaning the carpet I'd advise this product. There are definitely improvements that could be made to this model but for now I'm very happy. Long may it continue to function!

Very pleased with this - have an elderly dog with renal problems who has the occasional accident. Esy and quick to put together and usual as for Vax, good quality carpet cleaner. Used this and the smell has gone. Dries quickly after use, not too heavy to carry up and down stairs and fits neatly under my stairs. Its quite noisy in use but not unbearably so.

I have 4 large dogs and carpet which is not a good combination. :) I bought this machine and I was amazed by how nicely it cleaned the carpet. I mostly used the hose bit as to me it feels more effective. Downside is that I had to empty the dirty water and fill in with clean water multiply times, which is time consuming. Also not sure if its normal, but despite carefully attaching the tanks and all parts it’s leaking a bit at the back of the machine. It is pretty noisy though, would not like to spend a whole day using it. :)Also not sure yet whats the best way of cleaning the bottom as dog hair stuck inside. My overall feedback is its a great machine for the price.

Excellent carpet washer. Powerful and worked extremely well in cleaning my carpets. Prepare to feel ashamed when you see the colour of the water though!Very sturdy machine and comes with attachments and carpet cleaning solution.

Great machine for cleaning, really good job. No noisier than others. Easy to clean dirty water tank BUT.......... seems impossible to clean inside the suction areas and brushes without taking it apart!!! Otherwise really like and I didn't realise I'd got quite so many pet hairs still on the carpet. Only used today so remains to see how long it keeps going so well.
