This is good for fabric covered buttons. The process to make buttons is easy with all the parts needed to make the buttons.

Many of the button caps had the plain backing disks stuck inconspicuously inside them. I struggled a bit before I figured this out. Be sure to check this and remove them, or the buttons won't snap together.

This button cover kit is great for making covered buttons or other crafts. I use this kit to make jewelry from woven material. They are simple to use as well as durable. It's not especially easy to get the bottom of the cover to snap in.. but if it were easy to get in, it'd be easy to get out. I don't mind a little bit of a struggle if it means that my items are pretty much indestructible. The little blue thing isn't the most comfortable to press with my finger so I use a pair of pliers to snap it in (epic hack!). So far, I really like the results of this button kit and will purchase them again in the future because the price also can't be beat!

just excellent, I didn't believe in it when I ordered it, since my fabric was pretty thick coton, and button pretty small (3/4 inch, 19mm), I was sure it will made a lot of little folds around the button .....and finally no, it works well, fast and easy ........just amazing. The pusher looks to be a little flimsy, I didn;t try with it, I used a 10mm wrench socket to push the back in

I have used these great button covers in the past and always had success. They are easy to use and just a great product. However beware- they do not work on thicker fabrics. I bought them to use on an upholstered headboard I am making and they just wouldn't work - I ended up covering the buttons in a thin fabric with the kit and then hand sewing my upholstery fabric on top of this. It gave me a shank button to start with - so it was fine, but a lot of work, and a bit disappointing that I couldn't do it in one step.btw - it is easy to cover buttons with your own fabric without this kit - just less convenient.I would buy these again for any project using regular fabrics - not upholstery fabric.

I bought these to reapolster a couple old chairs. The fabric is thick and these buttons were useless. I ended up switching to a thinner fabric which isn't ideal for the design. Begrudgingly keeping them because I don't want to be bothered with returning them.
