Quality Silicone Spatulas at a great price
I have been using these spatulas for a few weeks now. I wanted to test them in different cooking situations. I am very happy with them. They are heat resistant and very flexible. Of course the handles are made of plastic so you have to be careful with them or they will melt. Edit 9/15/09: Nearly a year later and the spatulas are still going strong. Edit 10/15/12: After four years I am starting to detect some cracking on the edge of these spatulas. I'm elated that it took this long to show any wear. Product still usable. Edit 04/01/15: Somehow 2 of the 3 spatulas are missing. Maybe the dishwasher ate them? LOL! Anyway the remaining spatula is still going strong but I am going to order a new set to replace the missing ones. Edit 04/02/2016: Has it really been a year? Anyway I thought I would upload some pictures of the remaining spatula that is now 7 1/2 years old. This old soldier has seen a lot of combat throughout these years. He's stained and grizzled from years of use and yes he has some cracking around the edges as well a number of burns. But you know what? He is still usable unlike his two spatula friends that are missing in action. He's the smallest soldier of the bunch but he remains my favorite. :-) Edit 07/15/19 Over 10 years old and still in service. I have bought 2 more sets since, one for vacation home and one for our camper. I see a lot of complaints about the head coming off. It is supposed to so you can clean them properly. I have had zero issues with these spatulas and the remaining one is still going strong.

Don't listen to the critics: these are amazing spatulas!
I'm a serious home baker and professional food blogger, and let me tell you that these are the best spatulas I've ever used! I bought my first set and loved it so much that I bought a second one a year later. Pros: super easy to use, ergonomic handle, strong enough to stir stiff mixtures but flexible enough to easily scrape mixing bowls and jars perfectly clean. The spoon-shaped spatula in particular is amazing! Folding and stirring ingredients became SO much easier with these. They resist melting, and I've stirred hot mixtures on the stove without issues. The variety of shapes and sizes makes them versatile enough to reach into a tiny can of tomato paste or scrape out a huge mixing bowl with just a few swipes. There's no funky smells from the plastic, and the color of these spatulas is gorgeous! Cons: they can become stained if they touch strong-colored foods, like tomatoes. This problem can be remedied by promptly rinsing off the spatula after using it. The silicone can absorb a faint aroma from strong flavors such as onions and garlic, so I recommend buying one set for savory dishes and one set for sweet dishes. Just make a mark on the sets so you can tell them apart. Small cuts can happen along the edge of the spatulas if you scrape it across the rough edge of a metal can, but that can be avoided if you're careful. Notes about Critical Comments Dishwasher: As with most kitchen utensils, if you want to keep them in top condition, it's best to handwash them rather than running them through the dishwasher. It's inconvenient, but it's true. Greasy Feel: The silicone does have a somewhat slick feel to it even after a thorough handwashing, but that doesn't bother me. Unfortunately, any plastic or silicone utensil (bowls, cups, etc.) will retain a small amount of grease on the surface, no matter how diligently you wash it. Mold Concerns: Prevent mold by pulling the heads off the spatula handles when you wash them, and letting them air dry before re-assembling and putting them away. They will only go moldy if you let them stay wet in their assembled state. Trust me--I live in a super hot and humid climate where mold abounds, so if they don't go moldy for me, they shouldn't go moldy for you. Heads Falling Off: Just make sure the head is on securely before you start mixing. A head has never fallen off for me while mixing. Also, if there's water between the head attachment and the handle, it will be more slick and will encourage the head to come off--another reason to keep that part dry and clean. In Summary: If you maintain these spatulas properly, they should serve you well for years to come. You'll love how they make your baking and cooking so much easier!

Colourful and functional
Let me just say this: I use these SO much more than I ever anticipated I would. Initially, I decided to grab this set for two reason: because I'm not all that thrilled with my nylon spatulas, and because these looked like they would be amazing batter scrapers. Let me just go ahead and confirm that second thing: these make amazing batter scrapers. They grip the side of the bowl and really get all the batter up - way better than the old plastic things I used to use, and they don't have the flimsy quality of the wooden utensils that are out there these days. Keep in mind that these DO bend quite a bit - not the handles, but the soft heads themselves - so I doubt they would work well with a heavy dough; honestly, I don't use anything but metal and my hands for heavy dough, since that kind of pressure could easily snap a long, slender item like a spoon or spatula in two. For something like cake batter, though, you can't beat these. Anyway, I use these as actual spatulas a pretty fair amount. They're really great for when you're stir-frying or something like that in a skillet, and it's easy to go from tossing your chicken to turning that chicken into pasta sauce without having to switch utensils. They're definitely not burger-flipping spatulas, but they work great for the types of application that you would expect them to suit. I definitely use the spoon one the most - I can't stand to use anything else with my saucepans. Whether I'm making pancake syrup or spaghetti sauce, this spoon-spatula hybrid is the most useful thing in my kitchen when it comes to stirring, tasting, and so forth. It is, of course, nice to know that you don't have to worry about scuffing up your mixing bowls or your non-stick pots and pans, too. These are also super easy to clean. The heads come off, so you don't have to worry about food getting stuck in the crevices, but I've never had one dislodge except when I intentionally pulled it off. They haven't stained, melted, or otherwise been marred yet, either, and I've had mine for about a year now. Overall, I'm very happy with these! And they're pretty, too. :)

Good Deal, Enduring Spatulas.
These are great spatulas. I love that there three different ones; I happen to like the colors; and I like that the handles are acrylic instead of wood or bamboo. My old ones finally really died and needed to be replaced and I had a hard time finding ones without wooden handles. I get that the wood seems more Earth-friendly, however, the thing with spatulas is that invariably the joint where the head attaches to the handle gets loose, lets in water when cleaning, and who-knows-what when in use, and a wooden handle will eventually start to get gross and rot at this juncture. These will be able to be kept clean and sanitary. The only issue I had, thus the minus 1 star, is that the spoon one had some cosmetic damage around the handle where the tape had been attached. At first I thought it was just tape residue, but after multiple attempts with Goo-Gone I came to realize the acrylic was messed up. I can only assume that the package must have somehow gotten so hot that the tape and acrylic temporarily and poorly bonded so that when removed, the handle had this rough texture and cosmetic blemish where the tape had been. I did order them in December, so that's weird, but it's the best explanation I can figure. The damage is purely cosmetic, so I didn't return them and remain, overall, happy with my purchase. (Random other: The only other thing I don't like about them is the spatula head design around where the handle is inserted. They didn't create a smooth surface over this, instead there is a bump/ridge that makes cleaning harder. I have not, however, recently seen any spatulas that were not designed this way. The only exception being some by Oxo, but they are pricey and are black handles with white spatula heads--not ugly, yet, just wait till you use that getting the rest of some tomato sauce or barbeque sauce out of something. The white heads always stain.)

nice looks and quality (updated)
What can I say... they're spatulas :) but they're good spatulas. They seem good quality and they look nice. Function as expected. Update: I under-sold these before. In two weeks time, I'll have had these for three years. And I use them a LOT. So much so that, honestly, I didn't expect them to still be in my drawer. But they are, and showing no signs of going in the trash. They have proved durable and effective at their job. The three sizes are way more handy than I thought. Even though I've been baking a ton for a few decades now, I always got by with one spatula in my drawer at a time before buying these. Now I have a choice of weapon and, as silly as it sounds, I very much appreciate it. They all get a ton of use for their own purposes. The small one is very handy and probably gets the most use. The big one, due to its shape, doesn't flex back so its great for stirring (still not as good as a good spoon, but it works great when you want double duty out of a tool). Do I have any complaints? Yes. They aren't perfect. The flexible heads are not permanently attached to the handle. This is bad because it lets stuff get inside there. I didn't realize that was happening until I noticed (yuk) black mold building up. It wasn't until then that I realized the heads slip off with a steady pull. So its also a good design once you realize they can be cleaned! Perhaps that is obvious to others but I just assumed it was glued on there and nothing would get in. It isn't a big deal because now I know so I just pull them off after every use and throw them in the dishwasher in pieces. Still, I think I'd prefer that they be sealed then I wouldn't have to.

Every kitchen needs this set!
After my last scraper joined the graveyard of headless handles I decided to purchase this set. I have to say, this is one of my better purchases that has stood the test of time and usage. They are well made still going strong after 5 years.. With all of the abuse I’ve put them through they have not burned, melted or curled,. in other words, they are definitely heat resistant & durable. The silicone heads are still attached to the handles and holding their original firmness. They have not lost their shape or had their flexibility weakened. The handles are sturdy and provide a good grip. They don’t feel heavy or uncomfortable if you have to use one stirring for over half an hour (i.e. making a roux, gumbo). Overall, they’re great for scrapping/stirring/folding/spredding hot and cold mixtures. They work well in mixing bowls, blenders, pots and pans. They are also versatile should you find yourself having to navigate the bottom caverns of a Hellmans 128 oz Sam’s Club jar to grab that last dollop of mayonnaise. Been there, done that and it works! Best of all? Those pretty blue heads make them easy to find in a drawer or utensil caddy that seems full of black & stainless steel! Overall, this is a great value for your lifetime kitchen arsenal. As the Franz Kafka saying goes, “it’s better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have”. Trust me, you’ll need and use these.

Great spatulas
These are pretty decent little spatulas for the price. The handles are nice to grip. The rubber is firm but is bendy. If you’re looking for a hard rubber this isn’t it. I already have those kind so I was hoping these would be the way they are. They’re perfect. Like another review I read, I won’t be putting them in the dishwasher even though you can. I think they last longer if you wash by hand. Keeps the rubber nice. 👍🏽
