Restores appetite and vitality
Bought this on the basis of a favourable review for guinea pig use. My piggy stopped eating her favourite veg tomatoes & also her cereal. I mixed this dry in with her dandelion salad because. she did not like it when it got wet on a piece of baby spinach (because it had I think it has an unpleasant smell.) After 2 days she ate half a cherry tomato, then by day five she was enthusiastically eating a whole tomato plus cereal, drinking more water and being a lot more energetic, running and jumping! My sow is only one year old. One sachet lasted 5 days and still there is some left over. Clearly it is very effective. Obviously a large male rabbit might need the recommended full one sachet a day. Petunia is much brighter and more energetic than 5 days ago. Very pleased. This will be my staple in my piggy's first aid kit. Recommend.

Helps with piggy tummy issues
I give this to my guinea pigs to help keep their digestive systems going, and especially if they are on medication. Good stuff to have in the cupboard, just in case, but safe to use regularly. It can help with getting poop back to a normal state, if there have been any problems.I soften some of their pellets in water and sprinkle this on top, so it sticks, and mix with normal dry pellets - it's usually all eaten up!

Good for guinea pigs
One of my guinea pigs is on antibiotics at the moment and it was recommended to me that I give him this probiotic at the same time. I was advised to give about 5ml a couple of hours after each dose of the antibiotic and I was told that once it's been mixed up (which is easy to do - just one sachet per 50ml of water) it can be stored in the fridge for 24 hours. My guinea pig is fine with having it syringe fed into his mouth (I wouldn't recommend adding any type of probiotic to the drinking water in case they don't drink it!) and hopefully it's doing him good :-)

Bit expensive and rabbit wouldn't eat it
Virbac rabbit probiotic is better value for money than this. This Protexin one comes in sachets whereas the Virbac jar has a mini spoon for you to dose it out.Once you open a sachet you cannot re-seal it so that's not so convenient compared to a jar with a lid.My rabbit would not eat this one even if I mixed it in carrot puree and it did smell very strongly. But she had no objections to the Virbac probiotic.I gave 3 stars because it has the right ingredients for an effective probiotic and was delivered on time. Some rabbits might eat this I guess they all have individual preferences.

Bunny likes it.
Our 7 year old house rabbit has been quite poorly. The usual treatments have been used but this drink has definitely helped him, and he's very happy to take it from a syringe which I can't say for his other meds so it was good to be able to reward him with a nice drink after wrestling with him over the nasty stuff.

Rabbit likes it
I have a lion head who’s prone to stasis .. every time it starts I put an extra bottle on his cage, one with this and one with normal water .. he always chooses this one 😊

Don’t buy this product - not recommended
Product advices to mix with 50ml of water but product doesn’t not dissolve, some floats in the water and more sinks to the bottom of the bowl - rabbits did not touch it and unable to return

First aid kit for bunnies
Simply bought in as part of my first aid kit for my bunnies. Although I have used one packet in their water over the recent excess heat
