Great and Small!
This is the SMALLEST and compact umbrella I've found on the market! It came with a case, but that made it too much bigger. But without the case it is nice and compact and fits in my small purse just great so that I can take it with me everyday!

Great for Travel
I bought this umbrella for a weekend NYC trip after booking a Spirit “Go” ticket—no carry-on, so I needed something really compact. This fit the bill perfectly. It slid right into my jacket pocket and came with a sleek little case that kept the rest of my stuff dry. It held up well in wind and rain and was super convenient to carry around all day. Not big enough to share, but ideal for solo travel and light packing.

Nice travel umbrella
Got this to carry with us in Rome. Thankfully didn’t need to use it but it’s small enough to fit into a small crossbody. Once it’s open it’s a decent size for a smaller person. Definitely not a two person umbrella. Also once you open it, it’s a little hard to wrap back up nicely like when I first got it which is why I gave it 4 stars. Also a little tricky to close it once it’s popped open.

Small and Perfect for Commuting
I commute to work and have to walk about a mile each day and this umbrella was perfect enough to fit in my bag without being excessively heavy or bulky. It is compact and lightweight but gives decent coverage and UV protection. Great for rainy or sunny days alike.

Flimsy, almost impossible to open
Pros: very compact when closed, comes with a zippered carrying case.Cons: flimsy construction, difficult to open, difficult to get back in the carrying case.I bought this item, primarily due to its small size and being wind-resistant. However, when I unzipped the carrying case and attempted to open the umbrella, I couldn't. I tried everything to get the handle to extend and the umbrella to open, but failed. Finally I noticed what looked like a shiny wire twist-tie in the area where the handle release should have been and thought: "Oh, that's the problem, they've wired it shut with this twist-tie for shipping and the twist-tie needs to be removed before opening it the first time."Wrong! -- the "twist-tie" wire was actually part of the opening mechanism and several of the umbrella's struts were anchored to it. Removing the twist-tie wire caused the entire umbrella mechanism to fall apart.Which in a way was fortuitous because it exposed the inner workings of the canopy framework. All the struts were extremely thin and bendable. I doubt the "windproof" canopy could withstand anything but the lightest breeze. It was almost impossible to pack it back into its case for return.

Keep dry!
This umbrella is perfect to place into a purse or laptop case. It is small and takes up very little room. For those unexpected storms, this is great to have on hand. It has already saved me from getting soaked a few times! It is not as big as traditional umbrellas, but it does the trick just fine and is not cumbersome to carry.

Small, Light, but not Sturdy, (ok from car to doorway); Not sure I'd trust it in a real rainstorm
The Jury is still out on this. Pros: The umbrella fits folded up in my hiking pants back packet, partly because it is rectangular, not round (wouldn't fit in jeans back pocket). It would also fit in my purse or backpack easily. It is very light. If i was dashing from my car to the door, or the train to a cab/Uber, or from an Uber to a restaurant - I think It's stay dry, but if I were caught in a rainstorm on a hike -or even a walk around the block, I would definitely get wet.Cons: But it feels flimsy when you put it up, and it doesn't go up or down smoothly. The 1st time I tried to fold it up so it would fit into it's case I wasn't able to do it, the second time I manage, but the case wouldn't quite close all the way. also you have to hold the stem of the umbrella, the handle is too small. also the size, yes, it covered from shoulder to shoulder while it sprinkled, not sure if it would hold up under a storm. I am 5'6" 170 lb woman; if I were a larger man, I don't think my shoulders would be covered. If I had a brief case of back pack, I think it would be wet.
