Cool Sword for the Money.
These are great. Keep in mind they're cheap toys and they wouldn't last 5 seconds if you actually tried sword fighting with them. That said, they look really cool when lit up and my kid loved it for a ninja Halloween costume. I bought a two-pack thinking they might not live more than a couple of days being as cheap as they are. I only opened one and kept the other one a secret backup "just in case". Well the one I got out has been played with regularly for over a month and has no issues. Sword #2 is still in the box hiding. The noises are cool...but they get annoying really fast and may not be appropriate for all environments. I wish there was a switch to disable the sound. That's my only complaint.

great to annoy any parent very loud, a bit flimsy but its what you get for price. got it for my girlfriends kid to ask him to be our ring bearer with a tea shirt, hes 4.5 yrs old

Awesome swords but loud, non stop clanging that you can't turn down
Super cool but super loud.... This would have easily been a 5 star review if you could turn the sound off or if they were light up only, with no sound. So obnoxious, but the swords are so great! Even my 8 year old got annoyed with the clanging and he's pretty loud himself... It's kinda sad because it's for his Halloween costume and he probably won't have them lit up most of the might due to the non stop sounds. We got some light up ninja stars though, so he'll just use those for the light up effect. ;) Very cool swords though for the price!!!

Very bright.
These are very bright. And very loud. The kids took them trick r treating and they looked great.

It worked (for a bit)
My son loved them for the few weeks they worked. They are super cheap and obviously over priced once you get to see them. They were broke in no time. My special needs son who loves power rangers and sword play, tore these up by falling down with one and the other got broken when my older son played swords with him and they clanged them together. So, don't get these thinking some kids can actually clang swords or they will be broken super quick. The lights were okay and the sounds were super annoying but, they didn't last long and stopped working prior to the swords even being broken. I doubt I would buy these again unless they were $5 for both!

Cool but You cannot turn the sound off and have just the lights on...
I almost gave 4 stars but son't want to knock a star of because these are cool my kids loved them, but you cannot turn the sound off and it is loud. Well you can have the sound off but then you don't have lights. I really wish that the switch had a setting for lights only and the sound was optional. I wanted to keep them but my son liked them too much and it was just a bit much with the noise. Going to return and look for ones that have the switch or are lights only.

wanted to like it . . .
cool swords but the durability is terrible. got them as a birthday present for my 4 year old and he stepped on one the first day and the handle shattered into pieces. the other had some pieces break off where the handle meets the blade and the lights are starting to fail. I never leave 1 star ratings but this one is well deserved. get a star wars sword! this one is not even close to being worth the 25 I paid for it
