Oxford Picture Dictionary Third Edition: English/French Dictionary

Note to self: do not waste money for overnight shipping. I ordered this item to help me with ordering French materials and intended to use it during the holiday. Ugh!!! It did not arrive at my desk (even though the amazon people said that it was signed for by an employee in my building) until I had been back from the holiday for a week. I kept going to the front desk and asking every day. Product is great but a little too late.

Excellent product. Just perfect with the bilingual words for every picture. I am very excited to use it. A must have tool if you want to learn French, or, If you are French and want to learn English!

Don't waste your money if you are a student of French. Clearly prepared for a French speaker learning English. Practice activities and reading material all in English only!!

C'est la première fois que je reçois des articles aussi en mauvais état. Les livres ont l'air utilisés mais sont vendus comme neufs. Je ne suis vraiment pas satisfaite. À mon travail, nous avons la réputation d'utiliser des outils propres, bien entretenus, même si les livres ne sont pas neufs. Ceux-çi sont neufs et ont l'air plus utilisés que ceux que nous avons depuis des années.Les coins sont pliés, les couvertures sont pleines d'accros et de déchirures. Je suis déçue et non satisfaite.

This is a good resource to recognize and understand basic French vocabulary. Suitable for French speakers learning English. Take one star off since there is no grammatical gender for the French vocab, it would be nice if they had included that.

The book is nicely produced. However, as some of the reviewers have stated, the book is meant for French speaking people learning English, as practice questions and reading articles are all in English.
