Lonely Planet Grand Canyon National Park (Travel Guide)

This is a very helpful reference book containing huge a amount of information on the shown area. Am planning 'bucket list' holiday for 2018 and is very helpful for planning places to stay, events etc.

Haven’t been yet but have had a good read. Like the pictures.

This book was bought in anticipation of a holiday in and around the Grand Canyon. It is useful, will give you accurate data about the places you visit, and I think it can be regarded as informative and useful should you visit the Grand Canyon.So why did I only give it 4 stars? Some readers might argue it's very narrowly cast. It will tell you about the Grand Canyon, but nothing else. As an example Monument Valley is near the Grand Canyon, and well worth a visit, but gets no mention in the book.

Me hubiera gustado mejores mapas, mejor ilustrados que puedan abarcar toda la escala del Gran Cañón con ambos, South y North Rim.

Der Reiseführer (englische Sprache) ist sehr umfangreich, und ideal für Wanderbegeisterte. Er enthält auch Infos zur Umgebung (zum Beispiel Las Vegas). Klare Empfehlung!Es fehlen nur ein paar Infos zum Westrim, aber das kann ich verschmerzen.
