These flashlight are awesome. Great switch design is extremely water proof. Perfect for night diving. The two color flasher is also a great safety feature. Looks like a police officer. This will get somebodies attention fast in an emergency. It must be stressed that these lights need to run submerged underwater when running in highest intensity, otherwise it could easily start a fire. Always remove at least one battery for shipping and above water transport (like in your car trunk). This is the best flashlight ever built.

I used this for underwater photography as a flood light for my 10-day diving trip so I used it at up to 25m depths over 20-30 dives.Great flood light, could illuminate a large area enough so it's even lighting when I take pictures of critters. Works at depth, very bright, choice of colors (to try to counter the blue shift underwater) and level of lighting. Also the red light was helpful since some sharks are insensitive to red light and you can get a good look without scaring them.On the down side at the highest white-light setting it was so bright it seemed to disturb my subjects, so use it with care for marine species! [I used only the lower levels unless I needed the bright light and only for short periods too much to the light]Also make sure you recharge after every dive, the batteries don't last long at this level of output!Like others at first I didn't know how to open it. It opens at the base of the wider part like other flashlights but it's VERY tight, so we had to screw on the handle and then use the handle to open the battery area.Enjoy!

This is a great little light. I use it for all applications. It’s a fog style so its really wide angle. Underwater work great for clear water and cave diving. It does not work well in murky water like Gulf of Mexico because the particles in the water pick up the light and I cant see anything since its so wide angle. I like my 10 degree light for spearing. I took this bad boy into a cave in florida and its perfect. The only flaw I found was that people reported it would randomly turn off and it did this to me as well. I found out that you have to put an extreme amount of force twisting it closed otherwise it will turn off while using. Just fyi.

Do not buy. In short, not the product listed and broke within ten minutes of 'on time', never even saw outside the house.Taking it out of the box you can tell that the casing is pretty well built, but you can also see quite clearly that the electronics parts were cheaply manufactured and assembled. In fact, in the lense there were soldering waste loosely banging around and the led modules aren't even in the same orientation as in the images on the listing. Inserted my newly bought 18650 batteries that cost just under the amount of the flashlight, and quickly realized the sun was in the palm of my hand. Turned it off after figuring out the buttons, maybe two minutes of "on time" total. The next day turning it on was a failure, almost. I had to smack the thing against my hand for a few minutes to change the light from flickering to on. After this, it worked for about ten minutes when I turned it back off. Charged the batteries again for good measure, and now I am on four hours of pretty consistently attempting without success to turn the thing on at all.Picture one is the proof that you aren't getting the flashlight you bought, and pic two shows the soldering waste in the lense, which is represented by the two noticeable grey flecks.

They do suck down the juice! And they do scare away a lot of stuff at their max brightness. I've been told I look like a Buick underwater when I have both on. Attached is a night shot I took with them in Belize 2022. They are also quite heavy once you put batteries in them. BUT! They are cheap and greatly increase images at night. Blue light is pretty cool at night too. You can also have white and blue lights on at the same time, which makes some coral fluoresce and be more bright in the background. Mine also have a weird disco mode where it strobes red/blue very quickly that I hit sometimes. That's kind of annoying.

These are very bright! Three settings of brightness and Blue, red, white. I am 100% happy with this product! I have used them in the water many times. One of them if I screw the cap on all the way will not work. I have to back it off a little bit. At the moment I have 4. I use them for work quite a bit And I think they are great! Some of these reviews amaze me. Yes they do not come with batteries. Yes they will leak if they are not closed tightly. Yes you do have to take care of the O-rings. Yes they do get hot at 100% power out of the water. Yes, the battery life is not great at 100%. But it’s nice to have. Low is very bright medium is very very bright so there is no need to be at 100% for the full 20 minutes. A little common sense goes a long way!

I have really enjoyed this product, after a 1.5 year of use the buttons are failing, but otherwise a good product for the price

This is an amazing bright flashlight as in the description it is flood only. Brightest flashlight out of 29 people at Pennyroyal, KY this weekend. Three levels for white light, a blue, a red, red flashing and a really awesome red blue flashing like the police. It does get pretty hot so use it sparingly out of the water (water cooled). This would be a perfect light if I could focal the lens to spot. Highly recommended. Be careful with the double threaded area as it must be screwed completely all the way in to activate the light which is great because you can unscrew just a few turns so that you don't accidentally turn it on in your gear bag. It does not come with a wrist wrap, but you can get a lanyard and screw it in with the mount. Enjoy!

Dive lights this bright usually cost a lot more. I bought this as an inexpensive trial to see how it would work. NOTE: The batteries do not come with it, and you MUST buy BUTTON TOP 18650 cells. You need four (4).I had to jump through a few hoops to buy button top 18650 cells (had to buy a small flashlight with 4 cells off amazon) but once I had everything I charged the batteries and ran a few tests.The light is extremely bright. You almost can't look directly at it or you'll see spots for a while! I tested the light in a special 2ft by 6in tube I have filled with water. On full brightness the fully charged batteries lasted one hour and the light had zero issues including NO leaks.I find the light very well made. The goodman handle (included) fits perfectly though I used a round end M6 bolt that I had instead of the thumbscrew to fasten it securely. It fits great and the light is an excellent value. Can't wait to take it diving this coming Sunday.

Does not turn on anymore. Don’t waste your money. Buy another light You’ll thank me later

Doesn’t take normal AA or AAA battery. Have to order special battery but a after have the good battery that I order on Amazon, worked great. Juste the small screw is tough to manage. Love the blue, white and red light. Really bright!
