Cats meow!
This was very clean and nice when I received it. Using it in an outdoor heated dog house we fixed up for 2 cats we kinda inherited from a neighbor that moved. They stay warm and comfy and seem to be quite content with the straw

Great for making a cat shelter!
I did receive a lot of straw in that one cubic foot box as I still have plenty of leftovers. I read that straw works better than hay in making feral cat shelters for the winter, because straw repels moisture and thus will not freeze. I’m so happy that this straw is offered here on Amazon since I wouldn’t know where to find it in the city I live in. Very easy to use, just a little messy. The feral cat has been using his shelter, so I’m guessing it’s comfortable for him.

Works great, cats love it.
Bought this to insulate some feral cat shelters that I built. You get quite a lot. Very little dust and the cats love to bed down in this.

High priced hay
This is good hay, but very expensive. Go to Hobby Lobby after Thanksgiving and get then on sale. Save 2/3s of the cost.
