DIY and feel the joy.
Worked perfectly, with a simple installation. This replacement is made much better than my original LNB purchased with the system 15 years ago in that it has a more watertight housing and the insightful addition of rubber gaskets that snug up around your cable connector. Could not be more pleased, and saved a little cash on service fees. And the bonus! - got the TV back working takes the pressure off coming from the better half. The old saying "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" doesn't come close to describing when her TV is out of service! Omg!

Worked perfectly
We had problems with our satellite dish at our summer cabin and determined we needed a new element. It worked perfectly and we have our TV back. I was skeptical because we are in the woods but it worked better then I thought. It was easy to replace and install. I would recommend this product.

easy fix for the No Satellite Can Be Found problem
I have an old analog Directv dish and receiver and one day it failed... no satellite could be found. I called Directv, now owned by AT&T :( and wow - lots of up-selling and promising but bottom line was they were of no real help... every solution from them was going to cost me more than I felt reasonable and/or raise my monthly charge AND I would have to wait six weeks before a tech could come by (!) so after doing every self help thing that was on the Directv site I figured I'd go up on a ladder and see if the LNB had a problem and it did - it had a crack on top - water got in to it and killed it. So I ordered this new one along with an analog signal strength meter and in two days the problem was solved - the total cost, beyond burning a calorie or two going up and down the ladder twice, was more than 80% LESS than a tech visit charge would be AND I did not have to change my service, or upgrade to HD (which AT&T was insisting I do) which also entails replacing my receiver and dish... for $120 additional a year and, who needs to watch local news in HD - it's bad enough in SD

Great replacement LNB
Worked perfectly and priced well. Installed easily and was up and working in 10 minutes. We also highly recommend getting the Electronix Express SF-95 signal strength meter. This made the installation and fine tuning a breeze. See others comments on the meter for details of how to.

Perfect replacement
I had no idea that these could go bad. TV signal was completely gone. I tracked back to this device on the dish antenna, and the old one was completely filled with water. Installed this one, and everything works perfectly. Who needs a $99 repairperson?

Maybe I got a bad one.
I purchased to replace an old one that had started to lose its reception. Initially worked fantastically with all but few signals at 100 percent, but not only have half my signals at 100 and the other half 60’s or below. It arrived quickly and undamaged and was quick to install. But disappointed it only last from July to now.
