Put this in your car and keep tabs on your teen! It works as a code reader too if you get a check engine light. It even told me my battery was about to die. Tells you fuel level too. It also alerts you if someone removes it and then puts it back in. Records max speed, hard braking, hard acceleration.

Absolutely amazing device. So simple to install in our 16 yr old's car so we can monitor his driving. We've been able to address speed control, acceleration, etc. Things we wouldn't know without it. The app is really helpful. See attached screenshot where it highlights route and color codes based on speed parameters we set. Forgive the blacked out map labels but it gives you a general idea. Highly recommend the product!

As parents with a 16 year old driver this system brought peace of mind to us. Just pop it out of the box, download the app, and pair it. Super easy to set up and use.It works better than advertised. We live a bit off the beaten path, where signal can be a bit hit or miss, and this gps has yet to lose signal and shows us exactly where he is in real time. Very accurate.We love that it tells us any time a Check Engine code pops up, directly to our phone. When the car broke down on our son, we received an alert right to our phone and were able to get out there and help him immediately.I highly recommend this item for anyone with new drivers in their lives.

Nice little device. Accurately shows where my car has been. Great plus is it shows results for engine codes. Happy I bought this. Fun device. Price was great. Subscription price is great too.

first i want to start by saying I have 3 teenagers, two are new drivers, one was involved in an accident, we live in Maine and there are no streetlights, it is dark up here, there was a car pulled over with no hazard lights and the man was standing in the travel lane by his drivers door, my daughter's car mirror hit his arm going at 50mph, pretty scary, the mirror broke and crashed the window but no damage to his car, long story short he started yelling at her, she still had her paper license and the actual one had not come in the mail, no citations were given meaning no loss of license, she was hysterical thinking she could of killed him and him yelling at her did not help (he was hurt and angry I totally understand what he was going through), she called me and could not give me her location, it was a nightmare I have LIFE360 on the kids phones but she refuses to use it, my other child left his phone in the car and I could track her that way. this BOUNCIE device is a life saver, I placed it in the car, she has no idea, my car my rules right! well enough said. I am buying another one now that I see what it can do. You can also go under notifications and get SMS messages, so many features.this GPS locator works really well! when I first placed it in my car the time was off and it did not show up on the app took several short trips on/off. I was expecting a 10minute drive would automaticly show up on the app but that was not the case for me. the time was off on the trip, I unplugged while in the off position then pluged back in and it was reset. A few days later my daughter went to work and I could see her driving with a small lag time, it shows the speed during the route under the "trips", the address where she is parked and the time she left the house and arrived at her job. it also has "trips" to review each time you go somewhere, the car's health, you can set a reminder for your oil change, tells you the battery health, engine health, and you can add multiple devices on the same app.I had a question about the time being off so I contacted the help center (chat with us) and got help immediately, he was very nice and helped me. I felt the support was quick and helpful, I would attach a picture but again my daughter has no idea it is installed, it plugs into the OBD port and it is not visible unless you know what you are looking for. simple the only thing you have to do is put the app on your phone and set the app up before you plug the device in because you will need the number on the device for set up.Overall, I would suggest this device to any parent who has a teenager learning to drive or a new driver, you never know how they will react when they get into an accident and with new drivers accidents will happen. I am very happy with Bouncie!Update: I was able to remove the vehicle information and remove the vehicle connected to the Bouncie device IMEI number (car was transferred) and connected to another vehicle replacing it. Going back and fourth I would not recommend but you can transfer the device to a different vehicle if needed. I was very happy and I just purchased my third Bouncie device.

I bought this for my car after having my previous cars stolen a few times and wanted the peace of mind. The app works great and is very accurate in real-time. I have some of the push-notifications setup on my phone and they are all helpful (i.e. Weather Alerts, Vehicle being driven late at night, ect).I could see this being very useful if you have a young driver you're trying to keep an eye on as you can set speed notifications to confirm if the car is driving regularly above the speed limit, and it will also tell you when the car has check engine lights or error codes pop up on the dash.The only major ding on this product is it's absolutely worthless if you are outside of cell service. Your car essentially goes offline on the app. I took my car on a camping trip and got a check engine light pop up while we were at a trailhead. It was infuriating to have this device plugged into my car and not be able to read the codes to determine how major the issue was. I picked up the Bouncie specifically because it could read codes in addition to tracking GPS, but I've had to resort to keeping another cheap code reader in the glove box for when this doesn't have cell service.Feels a bit of a miss to not have any local connectivity options from phone to Bouncie like bluetooth or something so you can interact with it even without cell service. Bluetooth hardware is pretty cheap.That being said I still like it and will continue to use it. Just wish I knew it didn't work without cell service so I could plan accordingly, or maybe even pick up a different product that had direct connectivity like FIXD (but FIXD doesn't have GPS).
