When the sticker that came with the ring for back of my phone wouldn’t last more than a day, I ordered these. They have lasted.

This adhesive is easy to use, extremely strong, and allowed me to transfer an old pop socket from one phone case to another. Much better than having to find a new one, especially since I love the pop socket I have now! Just use a credit card to pry the old one from your phone, remove the old adhesive, add the new adhesive, and place! So easy!Disclaimer:When I bought this adhesive pack, the image didn’t show that it includes two adhesives that are the size of a normal pop-socket, and 4 that are extremely small. Perhaps they’re for the new mini pop sockets?I ended up keeping them because I really only need the two adhesives (and didn’t have time for a return), but I’m bummed because I thought I would have standard size back up adhesives on hand. However, that’s my fault for not reading the description properly.Lastly, this is not a thin, clear adhesive like the one you see on original popsockets. It’s a very thin black foam with extremely strong adhesive on each side. I was afraid the thickness would have an impact on placing the new popsocket, but they worked out perfectly.

These precut 3M stickers are fantastic. They fit all of the different little mounts that I use with my Steely mounts in my cars. I run four cars at my house and everybody has Steely mounts on their devices. These stickers have made it possible to move the mounts around much easier. They fit like the OEM ones and they stick just as well.

I purchased this so that I could re-use my Night Ize Steelie phone socket (Nite Ize STSM-11-R7 Original Steelie Magnetic Phone Socket). I got a new phone, but the ball mount was still installed in my car and I also have the tabletop pedestal on my desk at work. This seemed like the perfect aftermarket solution, even though it included two sizes of adhesive and I only needed the smaller one. It was really difficult to wade through the product descriptions to determine which products were compatible with my socket, and did everything short of actually measuring the socket (!), but I ultimately decided that this was the right one.It's not. Even though some of the photos show a drawing of the Steelie dash mount, the adhesive discs are larger than the factory originals. Frustrating, yes, but a few snips with the scissors and all is well. I have every confidence that the adhesive will work as well as the original, and I'm sure this is ideal for the right product (probably a Pop Socket?), but I wanted to write this review to make sure anyone looking for replacement Night Ize Steelie adhesive has some good information.

Several different sizes

My new iPhone is smaller than my previous. I tried removing the Popsocket with my blow dryer and reattaching it to the new case but there just wasn't any more original adhesive. There are so many replacement sticker pads on the market but I chose this brand. It is important to read the instructions. You must use the alcohol swab to remove any dirt and oils on the surface you are attaching it to. I peeled the sticker off on one side, stuck it on the Popsocket and held it down firmly for about a minute before trying to peel the red adhesive side off. It wouldn't come off. I reread the instructions and it even gives you a little troubleshooting technique - simply hold press firmly for a little longer than I did and it peeled of easily. It states the curing time for the adhesive and it is best to wait a full 24 hours before using the socket. I currently am at work with a weighted stapler on top of it just to make sure the pressure is evenly distributed.The instructions are easy to follow, as is the application!
