Wierd and quirky but solid.
Definitely an older style mp3. But it works perfectly for my needs. The lock button is kind of weird, but the buttons aren't super touchy so it's not really needed anyway. You just have to push buttons twice to wake up the player first. A few things to keep in mind- The "M" button is kind of like the A button on a nintendo gaming system while the "vol" button is the B or back button. It has nothing to do with volume, there is two buttons on the sides for that. Putting music on the player requires dragging it into the file window the same way one might transfer files onto a USB. It will also use the file names as the song names. This wasn't a problem for me as my library is already configured that way and I'm used to doing that.The randomizer function works great, I haven't had any weird repeats. This product also has a speaker that can play music out loud when the headphones aren't plugged in. Found this out when I started hearing music out of nowhere and got really confused. Player turns off and on easily though just push and hold the lock button.Downsides: the "All songs menu" isn't partitioned alphabetically so expect a lot of scrolling if you want a specific song. Or look under album or artist-Don't expect help or a sensical instruction booklet. EVASA's text file/ moto is "Without music, life is a kind of regret, there is no love, life is a kind of excess." So expect some Engrish.-I've had a couple of times where it reset to a previous state. A couple of these happened when I booted up and one happened after the player took a small hit. Hasn't become annoying though so I view this as the exception more than the rule.-The play screen bars have no reason to exist. Like I'm not even sure it reflects the music. Not that you would stare at in anyway.That being said I've bought and dealt with several MP3's lately trying to replace my old walkman and this was the one that finally worked. Way better then the junk sony's selling these days. The case has that nice solid metallic feel, physical buttons.

Surprisingly good!!
Arrived on time. Quality seems very nice. The controls and menus are pretty typical. Had no problems getting it to work. The included earbuds surprised me. They are almost as good as my Skull Candy buds.I would highly recommend this player. It is well worth spending a couple bucks more for the quality. I'm hoping the battery lasts as long as advertised. If not I will update but so far it looks like it will.

Cute! FM radio is perfect
Awesome for my 9 yr old. I will not buy her a phone so this is a great way for her to listen to music. We mainly use the FM radio feature. She is very happy
