Promar LN-009 Aluminum HD Baitwell

I could have purchased this a few dollars cheaper had I not needed it for the upcoming weekend (thanks amazon prime) which is why I gave it 4 starts vs 5. In the end the product itself is 5 stars. I'm in northern california and i fish the local saltwater out of SF bay and off the coast. We use kodiak bait tanks will with live anchovies for halibut/striper/misc fishing. After going through several bait nets (some rust, some just suck and fall apart in general, some have crappy netting, some wooden types fall aparts because the wood gets soggy) I think i have found one that will hold up to the abuse. This thing is aluminum (shouldn't rust) and is heavy duty. The net frame is nice and heavy duty, the actual netting seems very heavy duty good quality so far. Out of all the bait nets ive tried so far this is the best and i have the highest expectations of life span.

So far so good! This net is holding up so well, I’m pretty sure that’s due to the metal over the netting.

Great net! I used in the surf to scoop up sandcrabs. It worked perfectly.
