Works perfectly in my 2008 Toyota Tacoma!
Don’t think twice. Just get this! Connection is within 20 seconds. Sound quality is superb (both music and during a phone call). I went with the default station that popped up on the screen when I first connected it. Only time I had to change to a different station was when I drove an hour away and the station began to get static. Otherwise, locally it’s clear as a whistle. As others have mentioned, the gooseneck isn’t very stiff like a gooseneck should be. But no way is that a dealbreaker because it’s not like you need to mess with the device. Pretty much you set it and forget it. Highly recommend!

Useless to me
This has not worked for me. It has to be used through a radio station and all of the radio stations it connects makes the music fuzzy. Pretty much I only use this for the charging port attached to it. I would return this if I still had the box. If you connect a cable from your phone to this device it still comes through fuzzy, you're better off just connecting it from your phone to the car. Disappointed.

Works decent for the price.
It functions ok. Audio for using as a cellphone hands free device is muffled. Occasionally when streaming music from my phone to the fm radio in the car there’s interference from distant radio stations. But works well enough for the price point that I bought a second one for another vehicle.

Not sure about this one
My daughter has the same item, hers is crystal clear. I bought this one for myself thinking it would be just as good, I was wrong. It is very easy to use, and the bluetooth is great, but no matter what channel I put it on, it gets static-y. I have to put my hand on my phone to make a better sound, but it goes to static when I remove my hand.

Great audio quality, terrible screen, sluggish software
I replaced a Flexsmart X2 that was quite old at this point. The audio quality on the Flexsmart isn't the best, but it wasn't bad. I decided to replace it with the Anker Roav 3, with hopes of better audio quality and a faster phone charge port. I'm not disappointed with either of those things. Audio quality is excellent and the quick charge 3 port is a huge bonus. However, the screen is absolutely awful. Low contrast, dim, bad viewing angles, and no ability to adjust brightness. In the dark, it's not too hard to see, but if the device droops a bit, it can be difficult. On a bright sunny day, forget about it. It's just terrible at nearly any angle. The companion app lets you adjust the brightness of the LED ring around the play button. My old Flexsmart would connect to my phone almost instantly as I was in range and always resumed playing whatever it was when I left range or paused it. The Roav 3 will occasionally lose focus of the music app and not be able to resume playback. It can also be slow to change songs on the phone. This isn't a bad device, it does it's job and the audio quality is hands down better than what I had before. But it's on occasion, agonizingly slow to do things. Even changing songs. I'm disappointed by this as I generally enjoy Anker's products. Their old DS-2240 computer mouse is excellent and I've crossed the country via bicycle using one of their 20,000mah batteries and and charge/ data cables and have recommended them to many people. All who've told me they were very happy with their power banks. This, however, I cannot recommend outright. If you can forgive the sluggish interface and bad screen, it works excellently. It can be updated via firmware through the app, so maybe they can address some of the sluggishness. I'm not sure if they can do anything about the backlight on the screen.

Another great Anker product, perfect for older cars that don't have USB or Bluetooth connectivity
I have an 2007 Honda Odyssey EX, so it has no bluetooth or wired USB capability.Setting up this transmitter is easy. I have it set to transmit on FM 88.5 MHz, and I set my radio to FM 88.5. Pairing this transmitter to my phone was quick and easy. Now when I get into the car, my phone automatically connects, and I can stream music, make calls, and receive voice navigation instructions through the cars audio system. The quality of the sound is pretty good considering that it is through the FM transmitter. It also has a quick charge USB port to charge my phone. The only thing I wish it had is a second USB port so I can power my dashcam from it.

Anker is great; this product fell short
I want to start out by saying I love Anker products. They are built well and are affordable. When I see the Anker brand I know that I am getting quality. Hell, even there batteries are good (yes they make batteries). I wanted to see if Anker made Bluetooth FM transmitters for an old 2006 Honda Accord I own. When doing my search I found Roav by Anker Innovations existed. Bingo, I could stop by search. I settled on the Anker Roaker SmartCharge F3. Unsurprisingly the reviews were awesome. Unfortunately, I do not feel the same on this particular product.Pros:gooseneck extensionphone charger outletsmallself scan for FM frequenciesCons:Roav app is a mess (clunky, tries to do too much and not very well) has an unnecessary find my car, wants to always know my location, send notifications…way too much. After two days, I was unable to get a clear connection. Songs would play but the static was always there to varying degree. I checked every possible FM frequency given to me by the self scan feature. The self scan feature was also not always correct in identifying a clean connection. Between the app (awful) and the static (sometimes mild) it renders the product useless to me.I will still buy Anker products but was sadly disappointed in this product. I will say this, I do live in the city and expected cleaner connections. Could it be my 2006 Honda Accord? The reviews on this particular product do not support my experiences. Perhaps I got a lemon. I still support Anker products.

Didn’t work
I bought 2 of these and they both worked very poorly the connection was weak and sounded terrible. I tried to replace my roav f0 with this and the old one works 100x better
