Really like the looks, the sounds, and the price
The media could not be loaded. The C8 arrived in a box much heavier than I was expecting, and I saw why when I opened it, as there is literally couple of inches of wood under the turntable platter. It is built very well, and took only 5 or 10 minutes to set-up. I’ll admit I bought it mostly for looks, but I love the way it sounds as well. I’ve been through a pretty big mix of my music in the last couple of weeks, and it’s easy to set-up and operate. I actually purchased this with the “matching” Crosley powered Bluetooth speakers, and will review those separately. They match the system perfectly, and if you need Bluetooth, they work great. I almost didn’t order this because it didn’t have Bluetooth, but ended up getting it in the speakers and I like it. We’ve ended up using the Bluetooth more than the turntable, as my daughter likes to stream her phone through it. If you do switch quite a bit between 45 and LP records, you’ll like the easy switch they mounted on the front. I have boxes of 45s I’m working on getting through, and play great on the turntable. Five stars all-around from me!

Great For The Price
At $200 or less, this is a great turntable.I highly suspect that this turntable is actually made by Fluance, contracted by Crosley. If you compare it to Fluance's line of turntables, they are extremely similar. The main difference is, the Crosley C8 at $200 is better than the Fluance RT80 at $200. The crosley C8 has features you can find on not just the RT80, but RT81 and even RT82. You are basically getting an RT80 with RT81 and RT82 features for the same exact price. It's a great bargain. The sound is great, the counter balance and set up is fairly easy (there are videos on youtube on how to set up the Crosley C8), and the look of the thing rocks. I have this hooked up to my stereo Elac Debut 2.0 6.2s, and the sound is way better than my old vintage turntable. All in all I recommend it. Amazing beginner turntable for the price. Everything you need to start spinning records. Get it.

Excellent turntable at any price
I use a couple of automatic Audio Technica turntables around the house and they sound excellent with vintage receivers and speakers. However, I wanted something manual where I could control needle pressure and anti-skate. The C8 is excellent on all accounts and sounds as good as anything I’ve ever heard. No offense to “audiophiles” who would turn their noses up on a Crosley, but this thing is fantastic at any price.

record breaking record player!
This crossed record player is AMAzing! The durability and weight was great and helped me realize that it was quality. The weight on the player helped with skipping. It fit in perfectly with my speaker and played automatically once I set it all up. I am very excited about the quality and size of this record player. It is a great value for the money.

It's Good, Big, But Good
I'll admit I'm still fairly new to vinyls. This is the second record player I've bought: first turn table. I started with a suitcase player and now I'm here. The GoodStupid easy to set up. The belt scared me, but that is probably because I have the tendency to as my family says "Hulk out" on things and accidentally break stuff. It's a very attractive player, looks great in my space. There are some really good components in this turntable for the price. The adjustable tone arm is great and works at helping preserve the quality of my vinyl and a surprising feature in this price range/class of turntable. The Audio Technica stylus is surprisingly premium a budget turntable. The BadGod is it huge. It's freaking massive. I had to rearrange my whole room and buy a new piece of furniture to hold it. If I had fully understood how large this turntable is I would have bought a different turntable. The lid takes up a ton of room. So to open it I have to have almost 6" between it and the wall. And no I can't use it without the lid because I live in a glacial valley at the convergence of two rivers fed by glaciers so everything that stands still for two and a half seconds has a thin layer of dust on it. It's about 18" wide and like 16" deep and most of that space is to accommodate the external belt drive and let me tell you I could live without that little feature because I don't understand why you'd do that in the first place. The MehThere is no Bluetooth feature. At this point in this price range every other company (even Crosley) has this feature built in. It's not like that big of a deal, but it is a pretty big miss. Not life and death and I do love the Crosley Bookshelf speakers I have and they look great as a set, but still would be nice to use it with my Bose soundbar or my JBL Flip 5s I have. But again it's not enough to make me hate it and frankly it's kinda fun to have dedicated speakers for it.The size is why I bumped it down a star. I'd honestly give it 4.5 stars. It does what it say on the tin and looks great doing it so can't be unhappy with it.

Excellent sound without breaking the bank.
The media could not be loaded. If you are just starting to listen to vinyls or are just a season audiophile this turntable will not disappoint. I started to listen to vinyls again and did a lot of research looking for a turntable that would sound great without breaking my bank and Im glad that I decided on the C8. Boy was I surprise as to the quality of the sound and the quality of the product. The C8 looks better and sound better that some of the more expensive turntables. It doesn't have the auto shutoff that some other turntables have but not a deal breaker for me (sound quality is). The RPM's were spot on right out of the box...thanks Crosley for the great workmanship. I waited a few months before deciding to post a review cause I wanted to make sure I actually used the product on different albums with different music genres. My C8 is combine with my Bose sound bar and the sound is excellent. I did have to ground the turntable because I was getting a humming sound once in a while.(feedback).
