Great item, better than some of the cheaper units, use it most of the week as a hobby knife, love the adjustments

I think the item works well overall, but I feel it could be a bit heavier to prevent any movement during use. Additionally, the side clips should be stronger to keep the metal sides securely in place. Other than that, it’s a solid product and worth its value. It’s easy to clean, the size is great for minimal use, and the blade speed is efficient. The color is nice, but I’d love to see more options available. As for durability I’ve been using it for six months, and it still works amazingly well.

Personally purchased to cut polystyrene/plaplate for Gunpla customizarion where I wasn't as easily able to cut identical widths consistently. Perfectly solved that issue.

This thing is The Bomb for chopping up styrene. I learned the hard way that it is also quite adept at slicing your knuckles. Your normal reflex after chopping a bit of plastic is to reach your hand in there and grab the chopped bit - it won’t be easy to reach if it’s a small part. Reaching in there almost ensures that you will slice the top of one of your fingers on the super-sharp blade. I did it twice in the course of my first hour with the device. I learned the hard way that you have to fish out the bits of plastic with tweezers or an X-acto knife. But overall it does what it’s supposed to do. Not super accurate for cutting tiny bits less than 1/8 to 1/4 inch long. Also wish it were steel, so I could use magnets to hold the angle guides onto the side of the device so I won’t lose them on my bench.

This is a replacement for a chopper I quite literally wore out after a couple of decades hard use. A great machine, allows cutting of a variety of materials to precise dimensions.

I cannot rave enough about this product! I am building a model railroad on a budget, which means I'm building a lot of my own structures. This Chopper has cut down my time and energy by way more than half. In this week alone, I constructed a gay bar, billboards, and a kiosk- all simply by measuring and cutting popsicle sticks and balsa wood. Someone asked the question if it could cut wood. My answer is an emphatic yes, however my blade has dulled and chipped some after these three projects- which is to be expected given the amount of work this nifty tool has done.

Can get this product at half the cost if you want to wait.
