Haribo World Mix from France 500 grams

Reading others' reviews on this product is a great reminder of how everyone's tastes and preferences are so different. I read a lot of texture and "soap tasting" complaints and it's so funny because the half of the mix they're complaining about are my favorite ones!My husband and I both prefer the candies with a bite-through texture (flowers, gumdrops, jelly babies, red piccolo, raspberries & blackberry gumdrops, yellow bricks) rather than the tougher gummy texture (bears, alligators, airplanes, cola bottles). The first seem to be the ones people are complaining about, but that's a style, not a mistake or quality issue! They are a more European-style candy (ahem, world mix?) so the some of the fruit flavors are less familiar and may have an almost floral hint, but I wouldn't call them soapy. We both personally love those flavors. For us it's the more familiar gummy ones that (while still delicious) we're reaching for last.If you know that you only like classic American textures and flavors, you may agree with the lower ratings, but if you're more open-minded you'll find this mix completely delicious.Also, this arrived while we were away so I was worried about it sitting outside for 2 days in the hot summer sun, but there was no melting or degradation whatsoever.*added pic of my second order laid out (after I ate a few)! This is a much different mix-up than my first order and some gummies are totally absent this time (strawberries, planes, colas) but I couldn't be happier. All the best candies are there in abundance!

Yummy

The ones that look like Dots taste like hand soap, but other than that I really liked this mix. The variety is kind of strange and wonderful. The nubby eraser looking ones taste like nubby erasers but in a good way. And now that I've found my favorites I can buy specific packs. God bless Amazon.com.

Fav Haribo mix!!

Definitely old and squished together. Not worth the money. Usually this brand isn't this bad but this mix is NOT recommended. Squished and melted together. Kind of nasty. Don't waste your time.

Value for money is pretty poor. This really isn’t worth it at half the price. It’s a world mix so some of the candies might seem strange to the America palate. Stick to the haribo star mix then IMO. Not everything is a gummy. Some have a kind of waxy texture.

I'm glad I can find my favorite candies from Europe without artificial flavors red 40... can eat us candies because there nothing natural

My wife was super excited about this purchase despite the whopping price tag of $15 for the bag. The reviews seemed to be great as well. This bag should cost no more than $5 but anyway, my wife agreed to pay this price for the size. She loves all kinds of Haribo gummies candy but after trying all of the different flavors she was disappointed with the freshness of the bag. The expiration of the bag is on November 2020, so should be still fresh. It was hard to chew and felt stale. She refused to eat it, alarming because my wife is all about her sweets!Would not recommend purchasing this product and will not purchase again.
