Great tool
Well built. Works great. It’s bigger than expected, so it’s hard to get into tight spaces. Definite time saver.

unbelievable value
this is well worth it at the current price ($90), I think I'd still be a buyer at double the price. i had the Milwaukee and still have two of the Snap-On, and this ACDelco electric ratchet has earned a permanent spot in my go-bag for junkyard hunting. i would say performance exceeds the Milwaukee in all aspects, especially the stupid trigger on the Milwaukee. the ACDelco is not as fast as the Snap-On but that's inconsequential. the breakaway torque is very impressive. it feels just as strong as the Snap-On, and much stronger than the Milwaukee. these ratchets also accept the HF Earthquake 12V batts.my main goal with this ratchet was for a cheap high-performance ratchet for junkyard hunting that is lightweight and wouldn't be the end of the world if i accidentally lost it. i intended for it to be somewhat disposable but honestly, this is an equal and worthy REPLACEMENT to my Snap-Ons and an upgrade from the Milwaukee.battery life is very impressive. on its maiden run, we hit up 3 junkyards. we tore apart the rearend of an X-type to get the diff at the 1st junkyard. at the other junkyards we undressed a few engines to get alternator and two serpentine tensioners, and also completely stripped the engine bay of a Civic so we could take the entire front clip from the firewall forward. i did not notice any drop in performance, or any loss of speed (to indicate low voltage).what an awesome little ratchet. choose this one over the no-name brands. it's only a few bucks more but the variable speed trigger and battery cross-brand compatibility makes this ACDelco a no-brainer.

Cordless. Professional. Heavy Duty. Awesome.
I bought this to handle jobs the 1/4" drive version wouldn't. Heavy things like removing mower blade bolts, deck spindles, etc., and I was not disappointed! This ratchet has enough torque to break medium duty item loose without breathing hard! The lock feature is awesome because hitting the trigger when you don't want to is a real pain. The battery life is very good for the performance this ratchet has. I enjoy the design, easy to hold on to, easy to grip, easy to get it into places and most of all... it works as hard as I do. Getting a bit older am tired of spinning a hand ratchet or wrenches most of the time, this took care of that.I can get my projects or DIY fixes done and move on to more important things like BBQing or taking a nap! I have NO hesitation in recommending this to anyone. In fact, I ordered my Dad both 1/4" and 3/8" for his birthday coming up in about 6 weeks!

Atleast its brushless
I've got the other acdelco ratchets, but also got this one as part of combining some deals together. I've had it for quite awhile now, and its worked fine. Being brushless is nice, little more powerful than the older brushed style versions. I like the much better variable trigger this one has, but why on earth did they place it so far up on the ratchet!! The trigger is in the middle of the ratchet, why is it not towards the end where it belongs. This thing is also a large chunky ratchet, not compact at all, although it does seem to have pretty good and robust build quality. But again, its missing a battery charge indicator just as the other acdelco ratchets.

Exactly what I expected.
I have the older blue version and really liked it. I have always been impressed as to just how strong it is. But it is slow. This new Red Brushless one is about an inch longer but uses the same batteries. It's much faster and is definitely stronger. Someone said it wouldn't back a 30 ftlb bolt out. Well mine broke rusty bolts out of a mower deck easily. But the 65ftlb rating is for tightening not brake away torque. I had a Hercules 12v 3/8 and it was no where even close to the quality and power of this one. I sold that one quick.

My tool box go to
I thought I would barely use this, I was wrong! A durable tool that is getting the job done as I rebuild/ replace parts on my Honda Pilot. Wish I came with a few different size socket adapters

Thought I got a good tool with a reliable name...boy was I wrong
This seemed like a great deal, more advertised power than a milwaukee and lighter. With a name like AC Delco I expected a quality product backed by a reputable company.I was so very wrong. The first one I ordered was broken right out of the box, as soon as a battery was inserted the tool took off running without the trigger depressed.Ok, no big deal, stuff gets damaged and Amazon's return policy meant I received my replacement 1 or 2 days after I submitted the return.Second tool worked as expected and I was at first very impressed. Was using it on an engine swap and as I did one side a friend used a milwaukee on the other side and we both were impressed with the quality for half the price. That is, until the delco just stopped. I assumed the battery was dead, so I charged it fully and the tool still wouldn't turn on.This time it was outside the return window so I had to deal with warranty. This was nearly two months ago.It took 4 times submitting a warranty request to Durofix who actually makes the tools before getting any response. I finally got a response with an address to send the tool to (had to pay shipping). The tracking shows they received the tool a month ago and I have not received any communication at all since. I have sent multiple emails to durofix for an update and have received nothing.Maybe someday it'll show up, but I'm going to buy milwaukee tools.Bottom line don't think you're buying an AC delco tool and don't expect it to last.
