This is not work in metal

Wife can't remember which is ours and which is neighbours.. so needed a tool like this to put our initials as identification on stainless steel items. Not exactly as good as wired motor ones which steel emporiums use for writing names professionally, but good enough to write full names which are legible for ID-ing - shallow groove, not very deep - maybe can go deep with some effort or pressure, which i didnt do. It's just like those battery tooth brushes and the plastic quality is pretty much like a Reynolds pen. Decent item with two pins provided and i was able to carve designs on glass jar - might be able to do good designs if you are patient enough and spend some time - looks similar to etched glass! A decent item and works - I'd recommend buying for similar reasons like mine with light usage. But expensive for the quality and need to handle not too rough - not for regular usage professionally, the batteries might not last long for continuous running and it would certainly breakdown.

Bit is not sturdy. Power is low.

After inserting battery in it, it is not closing properly and during engraving it opens suddenly. The most absurd, defective product.I don't know how a reputed concern like amazon allow such low grade products even not taking a minimum qualitycheck. I opened this product after return window closed as I have to go out of station so I could not open my parcel in time. After chat with amazon they refused to help. It's so distressing. And why they don't allow to submit message without giving star I don't know, why should I give even a star to this absurd product

This is a very good product. I did not know earlier that such a thing is available in the market. Once I had to get my name engraved on one of my utensils, so I found out that such a thing is available in the market and it is very cheap and very easy. It is very easy to use, I never thought it would be so easy, thank you Amazon.
