Comfortable!
I am not athletic so I have never worn protective gear before. Never kneepads, never elbow pads, etc. I have not roller skated in 20 years and I’m going back into it as an old woman LOL. I think at an older age it’s important to wear protective gear, I am really worried about my bones not being as strong. This Tripe 8 trio is great! Super comfortable! I was afraid they’d slip down and stuff but they stay put really well. Once in a while I have to pull up my kneepads but no big deal. The kneepads are a great fit, the wrist guards I got a small is a great fit and feels super protective. But the elbow pads are just too big. I can’t tighten them enough and I will probably get a child size at some point but they work and surprisingly don’t slip down. If you have small arms then you will not be able to get these as tight as you’d like but I can live with them for a while. So happy with my purchase, I hope they hold up well. I already fell twice and have a scuff on my knee pad. You would think getting back on rollerskates would be as easy it was before but the older you get you don’t have the confidence of a young person and you really do have to relearn how to skate and brake again. I also got crash shorts because I want to learn how to roller dance which will be tricky and I don’t want to brake my tailbone! My crash helmet should arrive this week, I’ll literally be covered in head to toe with protective gear.UPDATE: April 25, 2020So the elbow pads are way too big for me. Because I over tighten them I am Velcro-omg the fabric on the Velcro instead of Velcro on Velcro so the Velcro is kind of shredding the fabric part. The elbow pads actually do not stay up well unless I over tighten them so I had to buy other small elbow pads.

Over 6 inches of adjustability.
I bought these for my 7 and 8 year olds for riding their bikes or scooters. They seem well made and sturdy. I purchased the small and it fits them okay for now but with plenty of room for them to grow, which is great. The velcro is 4 inches long on each side (fabric and grip) allowing for about 6 inches of adjustability. If you need more or less it's easy enough to sew an extra strip on to extend it more or tighten it more. I'm anticipating many years of use before having to upgrade to the next size. The only thing I will say is this is really a set made for skateboarding or inline skating where you don't need to hold onto anything. I didn't realize this when I bought it, but the wrist guards are like splints that totally immobilize the hand so that the kids can't grip the handlebars. This is not a big deal as I simply bought them bicycle gloves and set the wrist guards aside. They can use them if they get into inline skating later on.All in all, a great product for the price.

Quality product
We have a 12 year old on the smaller side but thought ordering kid pads for skateboarding would be too small for him or cheaply made. We ordered an adult small, got them in one day, and could not be happier! The quality is first-rate and I feel comfortable knowing that if he crashes, this product will protect him. If you're on the fence, purchase. I highly recommend!

Good value for a beginner skater
Pros: This is a great deal for a beginner skater who needs basic protection. I purchased size small, the knee pads fit great, the elbow pads were slightly loose, the wrist guards were slightly tight. Falling on the knee pads is super comfortable and the wrist guards did great for most of my falls.Cons: I do not recommend these for aggressive park skating, you’re better off paying the extra $20-$30 for 187 killer pads (better fit and thicker, form fitted pads). Also, this is not counting against them because it’s totally my fault, but hand wash them only. I messed mine up a little by throwing them in the washing machine.

Great For Beginners
I love these pads, they are comfortable and durable. I measured my palm to get the best size for the wrist guards (the elbow and knee pads are supposed to be a one size fits most kind of deal) and they fit perfectly. I have pretty muscular legs but they are not too tight nor too bulky. I also like that they have two straps at the back of the kneepads instead of one large piece of fabric because I have eczema, and it doesn't irritate my skin. I think these are great for beginners and I am very happy with my purchase.

Great pads for kids
I got these for my 7 year old son, so he can wear while riding his electric scooter. It fits well and easy to put on especially for kids. It is fairly easy to wipe clean with damp cloth and offers decent coverage of knees and elbows. The wrist guards are decent but was not right for scooters since it hindered gripping the controls. But i think it would definitely protect his hands and wrist otherwise. I think they are also large enough for my wife to wear.Bottom Line... I would buy again for my son if he needed another set.

Great affordable entry-level protection for outdoor roller skating
Comfortable and light, easy to put in. I am 5’4” 125lbs and the knee and elbow pads straps are way too long, but I criss-crossed them and now they work great. I use them for roller skating on sidewalks and concrete. Have fallen a few times and this protection saved my skin from road rash. Pads stuff easily but they’re just plastic, probably not meant for anything too crazy or repeat visits to the skate park. For me, they’re perfect for daily skating, will probably upgrade to studies higher quality gear when I try jumps and tricks.

Doesn’t completely protect hands but OK
I’m 5’2, 30yrs old, 135lbs and purchased a small. Overall I think this is an ok set and the sizing felt about right. I’m a beginner so I expected to fall a lot. The only issue I found is that the hand guards do not protect the upper half of your palm. Since you can’t bend your wrist you will fall on your fingers and the bones along the top part of your palm which can hurt those bones. I’d like to think that worse damage could have been done without these pads, but I might consider going with a different brand if I were to buy again.
