Kovot Set of 4 Porcelain Stackable 20-Ounce Bowls | Oven Safe Soup Bowls

I bought these as an adaptive aid for my mother who has Parkinson's. Straight wall allowed her to scoop to the side wall & drag loaded spoon up & to her mouth. Love them so much they have become our favorite bowls! Good portion size, stack well & have held up for months except for the one I dropped on a tile floor! Yes, if left long enough in a microwave, handles will get hot but honestly, I haven't had any dishware approximately this general size that didn't if heated long enough. I waited too long to order another set , as they are not longer available on Amazon. They are not perfect in glazing Dept but I bought for practicality & vs ll ue. Worth every penny! Hope they return.Update:. Failed to mention how exceptionally they maintain food temperature, which is awesome for those who eat slowly.

Worst quality I have ever bought. Bowls are not fully and evenly covered with Porcelain and have many black marks. I am really disappointed by this purchase.

These bowls are large and a little heavy to be picked up as cream soup cups, but good for regular use for soup and cereal bowls. The double handles might get in the way of storage in a tight cupboard space. Unfortunately, one arrived badly chipped. The return/refund process was fast and efficient and I received my refund within days.

Arrived Saturday, 3/4/2018. Two of the bowls were broken when arrived. One had a cracked side and a chip off top of bowl, and the other had the handle broke off along with chips broken off the top of the bowl. I needed four bowls for BBQ Mac and Cheese as I have company coming today for dinner. Actually, I should of returned them; however, it'd be a pain to box them back up and get them to UPS. $19.00 was a good price, however, very, very poor quality. Hope the 4 I've kept ($4.75 a bowl) make it thru a dishwasher experience!

These bowls are great. Sure, a few of them have minor glazing issues on the bottom, but who cares? The bowls and handles do get a bit warm in the microwave (what plates and bowls don't?), but not so hot that they're uncomfortable to hold. They're big enough for a decent serving of soup, the straight sides keep the liquids from sloshing over the top, and the thick ceramic keeps the contents warm. Plus, they stack.

I like these bowls, the handles don't heat up too much when microwaved. My only peeve is that the handles are bit smallI can only fit one finger, if you've got big hands, you can't really use the handles to put your fingers in, hence the four star review.

These little crocks are perfect if you have limited cupboard space, since they fit into one another. I also like the little handles on the sides, which make them easier to carry to the table than a regular bowl. They replaced some pasta bowls that I used for soup, which were really too shallow. And the soup bowls themselves got extremely hot in the microwave. These crocks, being much thicker, don't get so hot, yet they keep your soup warm. Totally recommend!

Great size for soup, and it's nice to find more than four in a set. Almost all of them have fairly obvious flaws in the glaze (bumps, missed spots, and large drips) but the price point is low so that's not a big surprise. As long as they hold up in the oven and dishwasher, I'll be happy with them.
