I had to hunt this product down
This product was readily available in local stores for years. I do not use it in large amounts so when I was almost out I started looking for it in the stores. It was no where to be found locally. For my purposes - to remove dried egg/cheese from stainless steel fry pans - nothing is easier or better. Spray it thoroughly, it comes out like a light foam, wait 5-15 mins and the egg/cheese comes off with no effort. I do not use any pans coated with various non-stick compounds. I'm strictly a 7 layer (or more) stainless steel product person. I would read the warnings, I'm not sure but I think if you try to use this on coated surfaces, even those coated non-stick grills you likely will remove the coating, read the label, I believe it will tell you not to use on coated products. If you love to use stainless - this is your cleaner for foods that are stubborn to remove.

Works well!
I bought this primarily to clean the cooking grid on my gas grill. I hadn't cleaned this in a looong time so it was pretty grungy. The Dawn Power Dissolver did the trick. I took the grid off the grill and sat it on four bricks so that it was suspended above the patio surface. I sprayed the Dawn on it and let it sit for about 15 minutes then took my high pressure washer and blasted it off. The grid, which is stainless steel, came out looking almost like new. A second treatment the next day really finished it off nicely. Go Dawn!!!

Overpriced on amazon
I was eager to get this and give it a try on my stainless steel grill. I am working on that still, so I'll update with info on how well the product works for that purpose. I didn't shop around much since I saw many reviews that said this was not widely available in stores. This is more of a review of the seller. Shipping took longer than average. I was surprised when the item arrived in a Walmart.com box/label. It appears from the shipping labels this seller actually marks up and resells the item & it's shipped from walmart.com. Now, I understand some people may just prefer buying from amazon and don't mind the mark up. But for me, I'm all for capitalism, but blatant mark ups by amazon sellers just seems sleazy. So, skip the middle man and consider buying directly from the walmart site for $2.83 plus 97cent shipping.

Not as powerful as I thought
A friend recommended this but honestly I don't feel it adds much to my cleaning repertoire. It needs to be handled with care because of a toxic ingredient. Smells like Goo Gone.I was told it would remove burned on items from pots and pans, but it doesn't do much more than detergent and Bon Ami do.

Fantastic Cleaner for Pots and Pans
My idiot husband scorches food and oil onto every beautiful All Clad pan I own.I was so frustrated at not being able to get the scorch marks and runs off my gorgeous and expensive LTD.For those of you who don't know, the LTD All Clad line is the most expensive and has an anodized exterior that is charcoal grey. This product takes off most of the scorched food on the outside of the pans with some soaking and scrubbing with baking powder. It removes ALL the yuck from the inside which is stainless steel. Letting it sit on the surface is the key to getting all of the burned on staining off the pan, along with some baking soda used as an abrasive. I recently tried this on the inside of my Le Creuset-- carefully-- and it worked really well. Didn't remove the staining, but cleaned the enamel surface nicely. I have reordered this Power Dissolver several times. Great product.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
I don’t even want to know what is in this stuff, whether it’s Drano or hydrochloric acid, I don’t care, this stuff is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I sprayed it onto the burned on grease (outside) and carbonized crud (inside) my heavily-used enameled cast-iron pots, let them sit a couple of hours, and the grease and crud just came away with a light brushing under running water. I sprayed it on the seemingly permanent brown coffee and cream stains inside my light-colored ceramic mug, put it in the dishwasher, and it came out cleaner than it has in years. Now on to clean up all those Pyrex casserole dishes with the baked on grease, but I have no doubt that Dawn Dishwasher Pre- Treatment will be up to the job.I am probably poisoning myself, but I am too old to care!

Grease remover
This is the best degreaser I have ever found. My husband fancies himself a cook, but not a "cleaner". This product is the only one that removes the burned grease from pan bottoms and the stove.

Dawn Power Dissolver sucess story
Plain and simple, this product actually works. It is the only product that takes off burnt-on stove top messes and cleans the oven, and many other things that ordinary products won't even touch. Why does it seam like every time there is a product like this that really works, they want to limit or discontinue it from the people's access? When it becomes available, get it while you can, even if you don't need it right away. It's a little pricey, but it is a very good product, that really works.
