The best diaper rash cream out there-all natural, does not burn irritated skin
My 15 mo old has a terrible diaper rash. This is his first diaper rash & I've tried other creams and ointments that did not work. In fact, some of those ointments burn & sting sensitive skin that is irritated. I avoid baby powder & cornstarch because they promote bacterial growth which can cause infection. Powders with zinc oxide contain talc or cornstarch and I don't want that. A&D burns irritated skin. Online searches of how to treat diaper rash say to apply creams only to the healthy skin around the rash & not directly on the rash itself- how confusing is that!? Creams are supposed to treat & heal the rash, what good does it do on healthy skin? After changing my sons diaper when he had a bout of bad diarrhea I saw his little butt tomato red & knew that it was time to try something else other than the regular diaper rash creams. I came across this one while doing a search for anything that might offer my son relief.I had to overnight this cream. It was the best decision I made. All natural ingredients. Beeswax that creates a protective barrier. Fragrance free because my son has eczema & fragrance causes more irritation. No zinc oxide that can cause irritation or even burn. Safe to apply directly to the rash, instead of around the effected area only to healthy skin.Immediately I applied this to my sons rash right after his bath. It has a creamy consistency and no scent at all. Not greasy. I have a cut and applied some on it first to test and see if this cream burns-no burning at all. In fact the cream has a soothing sensation, not a tingle, doesn't sting but feels soothing. I put it on my son with every diaper change and so far his rash is not tomato red anymore, it is barely starting to clear up after one night and day of use.I've started giving my son colloidal oatmeal baths-blend regular oatmeal in a blender till it is a smooth powder, then add a cup to bath water for a soothing, moisturizing bath. The oatmeal helps to calm irritation from rashes, eczema and many other skin ailments. Following up with this cream after a bath, my sons rash is healing slowly-but he had a really bad rash.I'd recommend this cream to other mothers who are battling diaper rashes too & also to prevent them in babies that are starting solids, or toddlers that are weaning off formula to milk and solids. Changes in foods, food allergies, teething can cause diarrhea and that in my case has led to diaper rash with my son.

Love the ingredients but it leaves my baby sooo shiny. Also priced a bit high for the size.

super effective diaper cream
My daughter has had extremely sensitive skin since birth, and gets diaper rashes easily. We've tried a handful of different creams, all of which irritate her skin EVEN MORE than the rash she had in the first place. We even switched to cloth diapers in an attempt to find relief for her. Then I found this-- and it's been wonderful! I can apply as frequently as I want, without fearing it will irritate her skin more, and I put it on every night before bed as an added barrier for when she'll be in a wet diaper for an extended period of time.I love that the ingredients are organic and natural-- reading through the list of ingredients makes it easy to see that this product is much more holistic than most creams available; this is free of many of the harsh chemicals that typically irritate my daughters skin. The container is easy to open, small enough to fit easily in a diaper bag, and cute enough that I even enjoy using it! There is no smell to this either, which for me is a bonus. The consistency is a bit like coconut oil-- semi solid, and quickly melts when exposed to body heat, which makes it very easy to apply. And it has ingredients in it that are naturally antibactirial/anti-fungal, so I feel good knowing I'm helping stave off any potential yeast infections for my daughter. We use other products from this company and have been pleased with all of them.

Quite literally the BEST diaper rash cream I’ve ever used. I have 2 kids and went through a plethora of creams/ ointments with my first. But none have compared to this one. It heals any rashes/ chafes overnight. And it doesn’t have that weird, medical smell most creams do. It’s a little on the pricey side for its size, but it only takes a fingertip full of product to do the trick. Definitely recommend!!
